With just two games on Thursday night's Association slate we'll use our NBA Plays of the Day to pick a pair of two-team parlays. Try to type that fast five times.

Thunder Roll Into Bullsville
Oklahoma City, which has beaten Chicago five times in a row, visits the banged-up Bulls.

The Thunder is 6-2 both SU and ATS since the All-Star break, following Wednesday night's 123-118 overtime victory over Philadelphia. OKC, as a 15-point favorite on the posted NBA odds, trailed by 15 in the third quarter, then went on an 18-0 run, eventually prevailing in extra time but coming up short on the cover.

Thunder G Russell Westbrook is going super-hero lately, racking up four-straight triple-doubles, the last one, Wednesday night, with a mask on his face to protect his recently broken nose.

At 34-27 Oklahoma City, after a terrible start to this season, has played its way into eighth place in the Western Conference. And the Thunder know that if they can just get into April healthy, they'd have as good a shot as anyone in the West.

Chicago is 4-3 SU, 3-4 ATS since the break, after beating Washington Tuesday night 97-92. Playing without Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson the Bulls only shot 42 percent from the floor, but the defense hung tough and held the Wizards also to just 42 percent shooting.

At 38-23 Chicago is tied for second place in the Eastern Conference with Toronto and Cleveland. Which means the Bulls are one bad night away from fourth place.

The line on this game opened at OKC -4, with a total of 200; in the early betting most shops dropped the spread to -3.

The bottom line for us on this game is this; Westbrook will play tonight, while Rose, Butler and Gibson will not. That's enough for us to to side with OKC.

As far as the total on this game goes Chicago has played 14 UNDERS in its last 19 games; also, while the Thunder have played four OVERS in a row, they're still 15-19 on the totals this season in games Durant has missed. So we'll go with the UNDER for our NBA pick on the total for this contest.

Two-Pick Parlay: OKC -2.5 and UNDER 199.5 at 5Dimes, $100 to win $277

Mavs Hit Rip City
In a possible preview of an upcoming Western Conference playoff series Dallas visits Portland.

The Mavericks are 4-3 both SU and ATS since the All-Star break, following their 102-93 victory over New Orleans Monday night. Just before that Dallas had lost back-to-back games to Atlanta and Brooklyn.

The Blazers, meanwhile, are 4-2 SU, 3-3 ATS since the All-Star break, with four wins in a row, following a 98-93 overtime decision over the Clippers Wednesday night. Portland trailed that game by 10 with about three minutes to go but rallied, then rode momentum to victory in the OT.

So Portland is tied with Houston for the three-four spots in the West, while Dallas is tied with the Clippers for the five-six spots. With a victory tonight the Mavs would pull to within a half-game of the Blazers.

These teams have split two games already this season, each winning and covering on their home courts. Back in November Portland pounded Dallas 108-87, covering as a two-point favorite, while a month ago the Mavs rallied late to force overtime and beat the Blazers in Big D 111-101.

That first meeting played UNDER its total of 209, and the second meeting was an UNDER at 207 through regulation, before going OVER in OT.

Dallas hopes to get a little healthier soon, possibly tonight, as both Chandler Parson and Tyson Chandler get better after missing the last few games with various ailments.

Most books we checked with opened their betting on this game with Portland favored by 2.5 points, the total offered at right around 201. In the early betting the spread was holding firm, while the total was being dropped under 200.

Portland won the first meeting between these teams this season, and should have won the second. And tonight it's only favored by a bucket, at home. We like the Blazers on the side at the short spread.

As far as the total on this game goes, these two teams are a combined 68-51 on the UNDERS this season. Also, the Mavs have played eight UNDERS in a row, in part because their scoring has been off, and Portland has played four UNDERS in its last seven games. So we like the UNDER for tonight.

Two-Pick Parlay: Portland -2 and UNDER 199.5 at 5Dimes, $100 to win $287
