The Utah Jazz absolutely demolished the Wizards on Monday night. Now the Jazz have a much tougher task on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and it might just be the game of the night with Utah riding a six-game winning streak.

Jazz at Thunder

The Thunder have been playing a little better, but their win over the Spurs last time out was unimpressive considering San Antonio was resting half their team. They barely beat the Wolves two nights before that, and before those two wins they had lost three straight. To say the Thunder are playing better is like saying you lost weight when in reality you dropped two pounds after taking a crap.

I’m still pretty confident that the Thunder will turn things around offensively, but in this game, even against a Jazz team coming off a game Monday, Utah is undervalued right now in the NBA Odds.

Despite the fact that Rudy Gobert might not play after going for 21 minutes on Monday night in his return from injury Utah’s defense is good enough to hold down this struggling offense, even in Oklahoma City. Utah has been very good defensively in divisional games this season, while the Thunder have struggled.

I see this one as a rough and rowdy game, with a lot of physicality, and not many fast breaks. These two teams will run half-court sets if Russell Westbrook doesn’t run the ball up and down the court, and if this one is a lower scoring game it favors the Jazz taking the points.
