A massive four game playoff slate awaits us on Tuesday and with three of those contests being elimination games, we are in for a wild Tuesday of NBA Picks.

Jordan’s NBA Picks: 66-45 (Playoffs 12-7)

Orlando Magic at Toronto Raptors

Tuesday, 7:00 P.M. Now Orlando is a double-digit underdog in Game 5 and they could very realistically cover that spread.

However, with the way Toronto’s defense has played and with the Magic offense quickly falling off a little more in every passing game, it’s tough to take even 12 points in Toronto. It will be a very hostile environment for a young team with little to no playoff experience. At any point if Toronto applies some pressure, the Magic could fold down the stretch.

However, with their backs against the wall and after bottoming out in Game 4, I think the Magic could come out hot in Game 5. It would take another effort like in Game 1 where they don’t turn the ball over and their five or six best players share the ball enough to keep the Raptors’ defense from locking in on the Magic big men.

The Magic put up an offensive rating of 116.3 in the first half of Game 1, so they have it in them to come out hot on the road. The Game 1 energy of not having anything to lose should be coming back to them here in Game 5.

Orlando has also had a respectable 109 defensive rating in the first halves of their first four playoff games. If they can hold steady on that front and avoid turning the ball over, they should be within two or three possessions of Toronto at the half.

First Half Score Prediction: Magic 49 – Raptors 54

Brooklyn Nets at Philadelphia 76ers

Tuesday, 8:00 P.M. ET

Free NBA Pick: Nets ATS 1H

Recommended Sportsbook: Pinnacle

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3773925, "sportsbooksIds":[93,1096,19,999991,999996], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":2}[/]

Much like the Magic, after knocking off the favorite in Game 1, the Nets have lost three straight games to the 76ers and are on the road in Game 5 on the verge of elimination. The Nets are riding much higher in these playoffs than the Magic are though. The Magic are just happy to be in the dance. The Nets are further along in their rebuild and have done it handicapped by mismanagement throughout the darker days just five or six years ago.

The Nets have two star players in the making in D’Angelo Russell and Caris LeVert, along with a host of other young players that continue to play better. Even if the Nets lose this game to Philly, their season has made Brooklyn a destination for super stars that no one is talking about. Sorry, Knicks fans.

With that in mind, I think the Nets make one last stand in this game. With Joel Embiid dropping 30-plus points in Game 4, it’s hard to trust that Philadelphia can blow Brooklyn out of this one. If anything, the Nets are going to play tough like they have all season, just ramped up a bit.

Brooklyn has also been very successful in first halves in the playoffs. They have an offensive rating of 119.8 in the four first halves of this series. While their defense is allowing almost that many points, the fact that they are taking five first half points is a value. Even on the road, I like Brooklyn to cover that number.

First Half Score Prediction: Nets 56 – 76ers 58
