Tuesday’s slate of NBA games adds a couple from last night and we have several NBA Odds that are looking very nice early on in the week. I have found two that I am very intrigued by, and both should be great additions to your NBA Picks tonight.

Lakers vs. Pacers

The NBA Odds have the Pacers as huge -13 favorites in this game, with a total of 202. The spread seems to have some value, but the Lakers have been very good on the road against the East this season, and they are also getting healthier. However the Pacers are 7-3 ATS this season playing the West at home, so I think the total could have some nice; safer value tonight.

Indiana should fix their defensive woes tonight against a team that does not have much offense outside of Pau Gasol. The Pacers should do an excellent job locking down Gasol tonight on the glass, and his presence in the paint will only be a minor roadblock for the Pacers. Indiana should also be getting the services of Evan Turner in this game, which will only help their defense against the plethora of wing players for LA.

I don’t expect the Lakers to have much more than 90 points here, and while I do think they have a shot at covering, I see the under being a safer play. Indiana has cashed the under at home at 18-11 this season, and the Lakers don’t present a big problem for their defense.

Indiana is athletic enough to stay with anything the Lakers have on the perimeter, and even with Swaggy P likely coming back, I think the Lakers will have a tough time scoring the ball. Indiana got a win against the Bucks three nights ago, and they should be well rested coming into tonight. The Pacers are 23-16-2 cashing the under after a SU win this season.

My Pick: UNDER 202

Rockets vs. Kings

This is probably my favorite game of the night, and the NBA Odds reflect that. Houston is a -4 road favorite in Sacramento, and the total is 212. Both teams are playing pretty well right now, and while the spread seems like an intriguing play, the total is seemingly way undervalued in the early NBA Odds. I think the over could have tremendous value in what should be a very fast paced game in Sacramento.

I’ll admit it’s not a slam-dunk. The Kings have been playing pretty solid defense over their last ten games, giving up only 96 points per game. However they were only scoring around 95, and most of those games were without DeMarcus Cousins. However Boogie is back and he had an excellent game against the Nuggets, a game which Sacramento actually won. In that game the Kings dropped 109, and that should be around their total points by the time this game tonight is all over.

The Rockets rank in the bottom of the league in road defense, however their offense has been outstanding recently. James Harden looks fine after an elbow scare, and Dwight Howard should battle Cousins tonight in an old-school center battle. Overall this season these two have gone 1-1-1 in the total in their three meetings, however I see 212 going way over tonight. All three of the totals from earlier this season were well above the 212 being offered by several sportsbooks. I’m on the over for our basketball picks.

My Pick: OVER 212
