There are eight games on the NBA card on Saturday and we’ve examined the card from top to bottom. Read on for our best NBA picks of the day:

Brooklyn Nets vs. Charlotte Hornets
Odds: Charlotte -3.5
The Nets continue to be a mess right now, which makes it tough to use them for NBA betting purposes when we look at the NBA odds. We’re talking about a team that had lost three straight entering Friday night’s game with Philadelphia and has already started to wave the white flag on the season. They made it known that they’re willing to break up the core of their team by putting Joe Johnson, Deron Williams and Brook Lopez on the trade block. Unfortunately, nobody will likely bite on those players given their massive salaries.

This is going to be a tight spot for the Nets as they’ll be in a back-to-back after playing the Sixers and it’s also their third game in four nights and fourth in six. Take the Hornets in this spot.

NBA Pick: Hornetts -3 at 5Dimes

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Odds: Grizzlies -10.5
It’s hard not to like the Grizzlies in this spot as they’re one of the best teams in the NBA while the 76ers are the worst. This is a mismatch of epic proportions. However, Philadelphia had a little bit of momentum heading into Friday’s action as they had won two of their last four games. That’s quite impressive considering they didn’t have a single win in their first 17 games. Take a closer look, the Sixers wins came against the lousy Detroit Pistons and awful Minnesota Timberwolves. In other words, they’re only capable of competing with weaklings. Sandwitched in with those wins is a 16-point loss to Atlanta and a 12-point loss to Oklahoma City.

The Grizzlies have started the season very well but with the Golden State Warriors setting the pace in the Western Conference with just two losses so far, the Grizzlies can’t afford to slip up. This is a gimme for them and I expect them to fully take advantage. Their defense is suffocating and shouldn’t have a problem putting the muzzle on the Sixers.

NBA Pick: Grizzlies -10.5 at 5Dimes

Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks
Odds: Mavericks -1.5
Everything is working for the Warriors these days as they’ve won 14 in a row, which includes an impressive 105-93 win over the Houston Rockets in the Thursday night TNT game. However, Saturday figures to be a tough spot. When you look at the Warriors road games this season, they haven’t been challenged too much. They did win in Chicago against the Bulls but they’re not at full strength and they also beat the Thunder in Oklahoma City when they were short stacked. Other than that, they’ve played a bunch of laggards away from home like Detroit, Charlotte, Miami, Orlando and the Lakers. That’s not to take anything away from Golden State, it’s just that Saturday could be a really tough test for them.

It’s a 2:00 PM ET game, which is really 11:00 AM in their local time zone, and Dallas will really be up for this game to measure themselves against the best. The Mavs are 9-3 at home, add them to your NBA picks as they should get their 10th win on Saturday.

NBA Pick: Mavericks -1.5 at Pinnacle
