Despite a short slate of games, there are some really good NBA betting totals on the board. Today, we will expose a couple of those totals as we seek a nice tidy profit for the betting public with our picks.

Golden State Warriors (46-11) vs. Brooklyn Nets (24-33)

The 82 Game Grind is Getting to the Warriors
Last night, the Warriors played like a tired bunch as they were getting crushed by the Boston Celtics for most of the game, but their talent was still good enough and including 37 points from Stephen Curry, to provide them with a 106-101 victory. Curry really won that game by himself. The Celtics might not be as talented as GS, but they're a deep team with guys like Isiah Thomas coming off of the bench and it's enough to make the Warriors work. I actually expect the Warriors to be better tonight as they've proven that nothing can stop them. They scored 106 points and 57 of those points came in the 2nd half.

Deep At the Key Positions
Where the Nets are concerned, I expect them to come out strong and refreshed after a 104-94 victory over a good Dallas Mavericks team. Deron Williams might never live up to the label of franchise player, but he's still a good "quarterback" on the court and this showed against the Mavs as "D.Will" led the Nets with 25 points.

With Williams in the lineup, Jarrett Jack doesn't get the same amount of playing time, but this Nets team is quite deep .You can also look at the center position with the 2-headed monster in Mason Plumlee and Brook Lopez. The Nets were looking to trade Lopez with the emergence of Plumlee, but they thought better of it as both of these big men have a nice soft touch offensively and Plumlee can control the boards like he did on Saturday as he grabbed 10 rebounds to go along with 14 points, The center position is where the Nets have the advantage, but the Warriors talent is on a different stratosphere.

208.5 isn't a lot of points for a Warriors game and I expect Golden State to get a 2nd wind as they play a very tough Brooklyn team. Look for this game to go over the NBA Odds total and be very competitive as it's being played at the Barclays Center, which gives Brooklyn an extra boost.

Phoenix Suns (31-29) vs. Miami Heat (25-33)

Goran Dragic vs. His Old Team
This should add an element of excitement as lately, neither of these teams has been exciting. Phoenix has played themselves into the 10th spot in the Western Conference, going 3-7 in their last 10 games while the Miami Heat are in the 7th spot in the Eastern Conference, but without Chris Bosh, are going nowhere despite the emergence of Hasaan Whiteside.

This total is high for a Heat game, but the Suns average 105.8 points offensively and allow 105.1 points defensively, showing very little in the way of defense. You have guys in this game such as Brandon Knight and Goran Dragic, who will be looking to prove themselves. When Dragic was first a member of the Heat, he couldn't handle the pressure, but tonight, I think that he'll have a big game along with Brandon Knight.

Knight is still trying to gel with his new teammates, averaging 13.2 points per game, which is way below what he averaged when he was a member of the Milwaukee Bucks. Look for him to take more of the initiative in this game. This game should be an easy NBA Pick: take over despite the poor play by both teams as of late.
