I love props in general. Props are a great way of making a profit without having to wait for the outcome for a game, which can be a 50/50 proposition at times. Let's take a look at the NBA Betting Player Props that the sportsbooks have provided for Monday the 24th.

How Many Points Will Lebron James Score?
Over 25.5 -115
Under 25.5 -115
If he was on the Miami Heat, most of the past player props for LBJ would be easy overs, but that hasn't been the case as Lebron's plan to come home and win a championship are off to a rocky start.

The problem is that Lebron, Kevin Love, and Kyrie Irving are all used to "being the man". On particular nights, one of these players now has to defer. Saturday was a good example of this as Lebron scored 15 points. Tonight is not about the opponent. It's about whether Lebron is hesitant to shoot the basketball. I say he makes up for a lousy performance in his previous game against Orlando.

Free NBA Pick: Over 25.5 -115

How Many Points Will Kevin Love Score?
Over 20.5 -115
Under 20.5 -115
K. Love won't say it, but he's been an unhappy camper in Cleveland. He might have jumped the gun and welcomed the trade for Andrew Wiggins, but Love really wants to play in his native Los Angeles. Love has been very inconsistent this season. One game, he'll score 15 points and the next game like Saturday, he'll score 23 points like he did against the Raptors.

Previous to this game, Love averaged just 9.5 points in two games; that's not Kevin Love. Orlando is a good opponent for Love, but the way that he's been playing, NBA odds point the under is usually the better bet.

Free NBA Pick: Under 20.5 -115

How Many Points and Rebounds Will Carmelo Anthony Have?
Over 32.5 -115
Under 32.5 -115
Although Melo has had a difficult time adjusting to Phil Jackson's style of play, the Houston Rockets and star James Harden are the perfect team for Melo to face. Expect a lot of run and gun in what should be a high scoring affair and this favors Carmelo Anthony who never met a shot that he didn't like. Carmelo will also have plenty of opportunities to grab some boards as Samuel Dalembert isn't a full time starter.

Free NBA Pick: Over 32.5

How Many Points and Rebounds Will James Harden Have?
Over 34.5 -120
Under 34.5 -120
With all of the injuries that this Rockets team has had to endure, there's no real go to guy offensively aside from Harden. Trevor Ariza is talented but quite inconsistent. This is the perfect opportunity for Harden to skyrocket over the total. Even when Dwight Howard does play, he doesn't look for his offense and can't hit a free throw to save his life.

Free NBA Pick: Over 34.5 -120

How Many Points and Rebounds Will Tyson Chandler Have?
Over 20.5 -115
Under 20.5 -115
Chandler seems to really like it in Dallas after people thought that he was washed up with the Knicks. Chandler has averaged a double- double and this includes games in which the Mavs have blown out their opponent and his playing time was limited. The Mavs play a depleted Indiana team tonight without Roy Hibbert. I'm cautious of a blowout and going to fade my original thought due to the blowout and Indy not having Hibbert.

Free NBA Pick: Under 20.5 -115

How Many Points and Rebounds Will Gordon Hayward Have?
Over 22 -115
Under 22 -115
Hayward is an underestimated stud that has progressively gotten better throughout his NBA career. He certainly is the best player on the Jazz squad and they'll be facing a Chicago Bulls squad with a lot of injuries. After a bit of slump, Hayward came alive in his last game, scoring 31 points against the New Orleans Pelicans. Although Joakim Noah worries me as a defensive standout, I'm still going to add the Over as the final of my free NBA picks, as Hayward is that good!

Free NBA Pick: ?Over 22 -115
