Bucks vs. Nets 7:35 PM ET
Neither one of these teams prefers an up tempo pace to their games. Milwaukee is averaging a very low 79 field goal attempts per game, and Brooklyn is at an average of 83 per contest.

Brooklyn is averaging a paltry 88.7 points per game in their first three contests. During that stretch, they’ve converted on a dismal 21.1% of their three points attempts, and are a poor 68.9% from the free throw line. On a positive note, the Nets are allowing opponents only an average of 9 offensive rebounds per game.

Milwaukee is shooting a below average 42.6% from the field during its first three games. That number certainly doesn’t bode well for scoring a lot of points considering the slow pace at which they play.

Milwaukee is coming off a 106-87 loss at Toronto yesterday. Brooklyn sustained a 101-91 loss at Memphis on Saturday. Those two results qualify for a solid NBA totals betting angle.

Any team (Nets) with a total of 190.0 to 199.5, coming off a loss by 10 points or more, versus an opponent (Bucks) coming off a loss by 15 points or more, resulted in those games going 47-17 (73.4%) under the total during the past five seasons. The average total in those games was 196.5, and there was a combined average of 190.2 points scored per contest.

According to the NBA odds at 5Dimes, they offer the best combination of number and price for this specific wager.

Suns vs. Clippers 10:35 PM ET
Phoenix has won each of their previous two games since opening the season with a loss. The Clippers have won all three games to start this 2014-2015 NBA campaign. This sets up a straightforward and profitable NBA totals betting algorithm that’s literally illustrated below.

Any team (Suns) with a total of 210.0 or more, coming off two or more wins in a row, versus an opponent coming off three or more wins in a row, resulted in those games going 37-13 (74%) over the total during the past five seasons. Considering that both teams were required to play some semblance of defense during their recent win streaks, and the high total posted for this contest, I’m going to go under the number for one of my NBA picks today.
