It’s a solid day of NBA action tonight with seven games on the board, I have found two NBA Odds that look like great value on this medium sized slate, so follow along as I add them to your NBA Picks!

Hawks vs. Sixers
The Hawks were ranked as thebest team in the NBA by ESPN’s Power Rankings, and it’s hard to argue with that ranking. They went undefeated on a West coast road trip, something no East team ever does, and they have won eight games in a row to sit atop the Eastern Conference standings. Now they have to travel into Philadelphia to face one of the worst teams in the NBA, and the NBA Odds have the Hawks as huge -11 favorites.

While the spread is inviting considering the Hawks should probably by -14 or -15 favorites, I think the total is a little more valuable tonight. At 196 ½, the over looks like by far the better wager, because even though both teams are improved defensively, this total of less than 200 points is still a great number for the over.

With the help of dropping 120 points on the Wizards, the Hawks have cashed the over in their last two games, and in four of their last seven overall. As a road team this season, the Hawks are 11-7 cashing the over, and they are even better against their own conference at 16-9. For the Sixers the over is 7-1 in their last eight games against a team with a 60% winning percentage or better, and for the Hawks the over is 9-4 in their last 13 games against a losing team. Look for a higher scoring game, and probably a blowout as well. Add the Over to your selection of NBA picks for today's games.

Mavs vs. Kings
The Mavs have been stumbling recently as they have lost their last two games SU. Dirk Nowitzki isn’t shooting the ball very well, but either way despite all of this, the NBA Odds still have them as a -5 road favorite in Sacramento, with a total of 211 ½. This is a crazy value right now on the home team taking so many points, and even though the Kings have struggled recently as well, they have also beaten the Cavs and Thunder recently by double figures. With the Mavs coming off two straight double-digit losses, I am going with the hotter team tonight taking points.

While it should be a good matchup, I think DeMarcus Cousins is going to bully an aging Tyson Chandler tonight, and on top of that the Mavs won’t have any answer for Rudy Gay out on the wing. The Mavs have no one who is qualified to guard a talent like Gay on the wing, and I expect a big game from the Kings’ swingman.

While the Kings haven’t been great at home recently, the Mavs are only 1-4 ATS following an ATS loss this season, and while it should be a close game, I could easily see the Kings covering or winning outright. They have two of the best three players on the floor in this game, and I expect both of them to score big tonight against a wavering Dallas team.
