It’s another nice slate of NBA Odds here on Monday night, and we will aim to pad our bankrolls on one of the only big nights remaining before the All Star Break this weekend.

Spurs vs. Pacers +5
Both of these teams played last night, so both should be a little worn down due to the All Star Break approaching. However what makes this game interesting is that we still don’t know if any of the Spurs will be rested in this game. Gregg Popovich has rested some of his older stars on the second nights of back to backs, however he has also surprised us by playing them on no rest as well this season. The NBA Odds seem to think that most of the Spurs will play in this one, because they have San Antonio as -5 road favorites in this one, with a total of 191.

If indeed the Spurs rest some guys, which is very possible, the Pacers make for a nice home dog bet in the NBA odds. Even though Indiana is on no rest as well, they are 7-5 ATS this season when playing on the second night of a back to back. Plus, with George Hill back and almost up to full speed, it makes the Pacers a much better offensive team.

The Spurs on the other hand have been dying for the All Star Break. After last night’s loss to the Raptors, the Spurs are only 1-6 ATS in their last seven games, and 8-11 ATS against the Eastern Conference this season. The Pacers on the other hand are only 5-11 ATS in their last 16, but 5-3 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Spurs are 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games as favorites, so I am backing the Pacers here taking points at home for my NBA picks.

Nets vs. Bucks
Another one of the later games this evening is the Bucks playing host to the Nets. I had the pleasure (or displeasure depending how you look at it) of watching the Nets live on Saturday night against the Wizards, and the game wasn’t even a contest. The Nets lost the game by well over 30 points, which is the third time in their last eight games that they have lost a game by 35 points or more. Some teams go a whole season without losing by that much, and the Nets have done it three times in the last two weeks.

The NBA betting odds however have the Bucks favored by only -5 in this one, and I am all over laying the points with the Bucks. Milwaukee is 21-9 ATS in their last 30 games this season against teams with losing records, and they are 38-15-1 ATS in their last 54 games against an opponent coming off giving up 100 points or more. The Nets have no offense to speak of right now, and I expect the Bucks to take advantage of that. Joe Johnson is in a horrific slump right now, and with Deron Williams and Brook Lopez both coming off injuries, they both are not at 100% yet on the court. Look for the Bucks to take control of this one early and not let go.
