Huge day of NBA action, and it’s unique that we have more games than we did a night ago. That should add some potential for NBA Odds value, and I have found two NBA Picks winners in today’s slate.

Blazers vs. Bucks
The only thing the Blazers won last night in their battle with the Hawks was Robin Lopez’s battle with the Atlanta mascot, because the Blazers lost to the Hawks, 105-99. Now they have to travel all the way from mild Atlanta to the frozen tundra of Milwaukee, and the NBA odds have the Bucks as +2 underdogs at home, with a total of 197. Even on a back to back, LaMarcus Aldridge should have a big game here, but other than him, I can’t see the Blazers really going crazy against the Bucks.

Milwaukee has been one of the most undervalued teams in the NBA this season, and off the back to back, it’s going to be hard to beat the Bucks on the road. Milwaukee has been very good against the West this season going 11-5 ATS, and while the Blazers have owned the East SU this season, ATS is another story. After last night, the Blazers are now only 12-11 ATS versus the East, and I bet they end up 12-12 after tonight.

The Bucks are 20-10 ATS this season when playing at an underdog, while the Blazers are only 1-5 ATS in their last six games as favorites. The Blazers are also only 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall, and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. Take the points with the home team.

Hornets vs. Nuggets
The Hornets may be doomed this season with the most recent injury to Kemba Walker, but tonight against the Nuggets they may still have a chance. Right now the NBA odds have them as +6 ½ underdogs tonight, with a total of 192 ½. While the spread is intriguing, I think the total in this one is the way to go. The Hornets’ defense is not as good without Walker, because they are spending so much more energy trying to score the ball. This ultimately hurts their energy level on defense.

That could come into play tonight in the altitude of Denver, and with such a low total, the over looks like a great play. The Nuggets are going to try and force the pace of this game into a quick one, and if that’s the case I see no reason why the over can’t be in play. The over is 4-1 in the last five home games for the Nuggets, and the over is also 5-1 for the Hornets in their last five games on the road, and 4-1 in their last five games as road underdogs.

Ty Lawson is going to light up the scoreboard in this game, and it might be even worse now that he doesn’t have to chase Walker around all game. On the other side, Al Jefferson should be able to drop as many points as he wants tonight now that he looks healthy again, so take the over and add it to your NBA picks.
