There are three games on Thursday’s NBA board, and our handicapping professional has totals NBA picks on all of those contests. He’s gone 3-1 with his NBA totals so far in this 2015-2016 campaign.

Grizzlies vs. Pacers 7:05 PM ET
Memphis is coming off a 106-76 home loss as a 5.0 point favorite last night against Cleveland. This sets up a straightforward and profitable betting angle pertaining to the total in tonight’s game. In addition, according to NBA betting odds at, the total opened at 185.0, and is currently (11:20 AM ET) 188.5. That substantial line movement has taken place despite 62% of wagers being made going on under the total. That’s certainly a pretty clear indicator as to where the larger per game wagers have gone. I agree with the assessment of so called sharp bettors in this instance.

Any team (Grizzlies) coming off a straight up favorite loss by 15 points or more, and is facing a non-conference opponent (Pacers), resulted in that team going 56-26 (68.3%) over the total during the past five seasons. There was an average of 201.8 points scored per game.

NBA Pick: Take the Grizzlies and Pacers Over 188.5.

Hawks vs. Knicks 8:05 PM ET
The Knicks opened the season last night with an impressive 122-97 win at Milwaukee. That game went over the posted total of 194.5 by a whopping 24.5 points.

Any home team (Knicks) with a total of 190.0 to 199.5, coming off a game in which they went over the total by 24 points or more, and they’re playing in the first half of the season, resulted in that home team going 38-14 (73.1%) over the total during the past five seasons. The average total in those 52 games was 194.7, and there was a combined average of 203.8 points scored per contest. This betting system makes a lot of sense with all considered, and one of my NBA picks on Wednesday will echo that sentiment.

NBA Pick: Take the Hawks and Knicks Over 197.5 at Bookmaker

Mavericks vs. Clippers 10:35 PM ET
Dallas is coming off a 111-95 win as a 6.0 point underdog at Phoenix last night.

Any road team (Mavericks) with a total of 200.0 or more, coming off a straight up underdog win by 10 points or more, resulted in that road team going 60-28 (68.2%) under the total during the past five seasons. The average total in those games was 208.2, and there was a combined average of 203.6 points scored.

NBA Pick: Take the Mavericks and Clippers Under 211.5 at JustBet
