It is time for another light slate of NBA this Thursday. SBR's expert capper has pulled his top play that will bring profit to your wallet.

Cavaliers at Raptors

Free NBA Pick: Raptors +3.5

Best Line Offered: Bookmaker

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":3264069, "sportsbooksIds":[93,1096,19,169,1275], "LineTypeId":1, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

The Cleveland Cavaliers are going through their scheduled “midseason crisis” as they are coming off of one of their worst losses of the season to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The problem with the Cavaliers has to be their lack of intensity on the defensive end. Cleveland is the 29th-ranked defense in the NBA, only ranked in front of the Sacramento Kings.

In years past, the Cvaliers have always hovered around the late teens defensively, which is bad but manageable. Having one of the worst defenses in the league will make it extremely difficult for the Cavs to make it back to the Finals. As far as tonight’s game, Cleveland will be highly motivated to play the Raptors, who are ahead of them in the Eastern Conference standings. Toronto will be playing without point guard Kyle Lowry, who injured his tailbone in a win against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday.

In theory, Cleveland should win this game behind the sheer will of LeBron James, but the Cavaliers have the worst record ATS in games after a loss (3-9-1). Look for the Raptors to cover as home underdogs against a struggling Cleveland team.
