Our NBA odds analyst shares his two top NBA picks for Thursday’s abbreviated card. Go inside to find out what those NBA picks are and why we're inclined to bet them.

Toronto Raptors vs. Charlotte Hornets 7:05 PM ET
Toronto has gone 10-1 under the total in their last eleven, and during each of their previous six road games. They’re 3-0 under the total in its last three games overall and there was just a combined average of 180.3 points scored per contest. The Raptors have slowed the pace of their contests down to a snail’s pace in recent outings. They’ve averaged only 73 field goal attempts per contest during its previous five games. Toronto is coming off a 106-90 loss at Indiana on Monday.

Charlotte has gone 6-1 under the total in their last seven home games. The Hornets are coming off a 113-98 loss at Orlando last night. Current (10:10 AM ET) NBA Betting Odds at Pinnacle indicates the total on their game today against Toronto is 196.0.

Any home team (Charlotte) with a total of 190.0 to 199.5, coming off a loss by 10 points or more, versus an opponent (Toronto) that’s coming off a loss by 15 points or more, resulted in those games going 49-19 (72.1%) under the total during the past five seasons.

NBA Pick: Play UNDER the Total
Best Line Offered: 196 (-105) at 5Dimes

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Cleveland Cavaliers 8:05 PM ET
Oklahoma City has gone 10-1 under the total in their previous eleven games, and that includes in each of its last four. The Thunder has scored 104 points or more in their last two games. They’ve gone a perfect 11-0 under (196.5 PPG) the total this season following two straight games in which they scored 100 points or more. Oklahoma City has allowed less than 100 points in ten of their previous eleven, and each of its last seven games.

Cleveland has gone 6-2 under the total in their previous eight, and allowed just 92.7 points per game during those contests. The Cavaliers have held their previous two opponents to 76 and 77 points while limiting them to a combined 35.2% shooting from the field.

This will be the first meeting of the season between these two elite NBA teams. They met twice a season ago, and both games went under the total. Relative to this current total, I like this game to be a low scoring affair, and one of my NBA Picks on Thursday will be indicative of that prediction.

NBA Pick: Play on UNDER the Total
Best Line Offered: 205 (-110) at Pinnacle
