Unlike the game above where the total very much matches the teams and the defenses that are playing, the Thunder and Nuggets line is a little suspicious at first glance. Right now the sportsbooks have the NBA Odds at -1 in favor of the road Thunder, with a total of 215 points.

Thunder vs. Nuggets

So far this season the Thunder have not been able to find a rhythm on offense. They rank 19th in the league in offensive efficiency and at times they look like a tea with two new moving parts and like they haven’t played more than 15 games together.

That chemistry should come in time and games played, but for the month of November, it might be a struggle for this team to score. That includes playing on the road.

OKC is averaging just 99.8 points per game over their six road games, and they have been even better on defense away from Oklahoma City, allowing their opponents just 95.3 points per game.

Their last five games have been really good defensively too. The Thunder have given up just 91.6 points per game over their last five, but once again games against the Bulls and Kings kind of skew that.

The key to this one though is the fact that this is a divisional matchup. Even with all the good defense from the Thunder, the fact that these two teams see a lot of one another helps them defend each other. Even though they haven’t faced one another this season, with the Thunder struggling on offense and excelling on defense, I love the under in this one.

These two teams have cashed the under against one another in two straight games, and since last season they are both a combined 21-17 cashing the under in divisional games. The Thunder come into this one cashing the under in five straight, and I see them making it six in a row tonight.
