Most of the top sportsbooks have the Thunder giving away 5.5 points to the visiting Clippers. Oklahoma City has covered in three of the first four games in this series so far.
The total for tonight is available at 212.5 and we've seen an even 2-2 split when it comes to the OVER and UNDER. Which will hit the mark in Game 5?
Los Angeles Clippers
It was yet another highly entertaining show in Game 4, with the Clippers clawing their way back to win 101-99. Despite the straight up win, it was Oklahoma City backers (+5) that were counting their winnings at the end of the night.
Still, Los Angeles showed great spirit in the comeback and now have re-gained momentum in the series.
The Thunder were up by as many as 22 points and held a huge lead in the fourth before choking it away. The Clippers out-scored Oklahoma City 38-24 in the last quarter and got the win to the delight of the home crowd.
As a team, Los Angeles didn't exactly light it up offensively. They shot only 41.9 percent overall and hit only three threes (3-of-21 for 14.3 percent), but they crushed the Thunder (52-32) in points in the paint and simply made more plays when it mattered most down the stretch.
At the end of the night, Chris Paul had 23 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and four steals (only one turnover), Blake Griffin had 25 and nine, while DeAndre Jordan went for seven points, 14 rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Darren Collison was the hero down the stretch though, making numerous huge plays to ignite the team and the crowd.
Oklahoma City Thunder
A crazy collapse in the fourth quarter has changed the landscape of this series completely.
The Thunder had a golden opportunity to take a firm lead and would have given them a chance to close out the series tonight. But, here we stand, all tied at two games apiece.
It's getting a little tiring talking about how dominant Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook have been, but they did it yet again in Game 4. Durant had 40 points on 12-of-24 shooting and added seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. He did, however, have eight turnovers.
Westbrook finished with 27 points, eight assists, six rebounds and three steals, but it still wasn't enough. As has been the case all series long, the supporting cast didn't get involved, as no other Thunder player scored in double figures.
Even Serge Ibaka (eight points and five rebounds) was quiet. That's going to have to change if Oklahoma City wants to deliver another knockout punch to Los Angeles.
Game 5 Pick
We look for the Clippers to make a game of it tonight, making their underdog price all the more appealing here in Game 5.
This has been a fascinating series, one that features a team relying almost exclusively on two superstars up against a team that gets contributions from all over the place. Which style will win out in a crucial game in Oklahoma City tonight?
Perhaps the Thunder will squeak out the straight up win, but we feel good about taking the points. We trust Doc Rivers much more than Scott Brooks and expect him to make the better adjustments.
