One of the most unwatchable games on tonight's NBA slate is a banged-up Suns team hosting a disappointing and almost equally as banged-up Grizzlies team. However, that means the NBA odds aren’t going to be as sharp, and we can use that to exploit this total.

NBA Thursday: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Phoenix Suns

The Grizzlies are a mess. They are without their leader in Mike Conley, Marc Gasol got the coach fired and he looks disinterested on the court, and the rest of Memphis is a mixture of young guys without a lot of experience.

The Suns are still without Devin Booker, and they are playing my guy, Isaiah Canaan, a bunch of minutes after just signing him off the street. This game is going to be full of a lot of things, but good, sound defensive basketball is not one of them.

Usually when you think of the Grizzlies you think sound defense. However, without Conley they have suffered on that end and are giving up nearly 103 points per game on the road.

The best things we have going for us is the Suns are playing at home, and the Grizzlies played late Wednesday night. Memphis is 3-1-1 cashing the over this season on the second night of a back-to-back, and they are giving up nearly 104 points per game. Meanwhile the Suns should be helped by playing at home, regardless of how banged up they are. Phoenix is averaging more than 105 points per game at home, and they are allowing 114 per game.

With how sloppy this one should be, I expect a lot of fast breaks from turnovers, and plenty of poor defense from two teams that definitely fit in the tanking category.
