We had a day off yesterday; today, we are back with two more big games in the afternoon One is a Game 1 and the other is a Game 7 and we have a few big NBA Picks for these two matinee games on Sunday.

  Jazz vs. Clippers

The Clippers forced a Game 7 in Utah and Chris Paul reportedly told Paul Pierce that he didn’t want his career to end in Utah. That is some nice motivation, but either way, Pierce’s career is going to end in the next round if the Clippers win this game.

It’s going to be tough, even at home against Utah. However, the better NBA Pick on this one may be the total, sitting at 190 points.

By all accounts, this is going to be a hard-fought game. All Game 7’s usually are. However, when it comes to these two teams, their defenses will be what wins or loses them this game.

That being said, the under looks like the best play for this winner take all game. The under is 4-2 cashing for NBA Bettors in this series and the under cashed in all three games from Los Angeles so far in the series.

If that trend continues, especially with this being an early-afternoon game in LA, look for a final score of about 97-91 for your NBA picks.

  Wizards vs. Celtics

The Celtics may have had some more rest heading into this series with their sudden rival, the Wizards. However, that may play more into the hands of the Wizards. They are coming in with some more momentum and they also have the better team.

John Wall should have been talked about more as an MVP candidate this season, as should Isaiah Thomas. However, Wall has taken another big leap this postseason and after not being healthy in last year’s playoffs, he looks ready to dominate this series.

The afternoon start does throw a wrench into this, but the Wizards are deeper and they have the best player. I see them coming out and punching the Wizards in the mouth.

With the rivalry between these two, that may actually be a literal possibility. These two teams have been on the verge of fists more than one time over the last year and change. If this series turns chippy, I still like the Wizards, but with this being an afternoon start time, I am teasing up the Wizards and taking the under as the second leg.
