The Celtics and Knicks will square off in Boston tonight and we believe we've found value with our sports picks. Who's ready for an "epic" battle between two of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference?

Knicks vs. Celtics Odds Overview
The Celtics are a number of games under .500 themselves, yet they're double-digit favorites for this home game against the Knicks. That just goes to show you how bad this New York team is. Right now the Celtics are favored by 11.5 points.

If you are instead wanting to put in some action on the game's total, the O/U is quoted at 197 for now. Keep checking back with the NBA odds in order to track the live line movement to get the best number available. You never know if that extra half point or point will be the difference in cashing or losing.

Boston Celtics
By no means has it been a highly successful season for the Celtics, but they at least haven't been a total punching bag, like the Knicks and 76ers for example. Boston checks in at 21-33 overall, which puts them 12th in the Eastern Conference, though they're only a couple games back of the eighth and final playoff seed if you can believe it.

We most recently saw Boston in action two nights ago in the team's 115-110 road win over Phoenix. The Celtics shot 43.8 percent from the floor overall and a very impressive 48.3 percent (14 threes in all) from beyond the arc. Avery Bradley did a little of everything, racking up 23 points, four rebounds, three assists and six steals, while Isaiah Thomas terrorized his former team for 21 points and seven assists in 27 minutes off the bench.

It seems like it's only a matter of time before Thomas takes over as the starting point guard ahead of rookie Marcus Smart, with Bradley staying at the two and Evan Turner at the three. It could be as soon as tonight, with the Celtics hoping to improve upon their 12-15 home record.

New York Knicks
The Knicks are in full-on tank mode, having shut down Carmelo Anthony for the rest of the season while giving a lot of playing time to a number of different guys. It's clear this is a franchise that's thinking towards next season, and they're going to do everything in their power to wind up with as high of a draft pick as possible.

That makes backing New York practically impossible for the remainder of the year. The Knicks have the league's worst record at 10-45 overall and they enter tonight having lost seven games in a row. They're a miserable 3-24 overall and haven't even been close to competitive in most of their losses throughout the season. Young guys, like Langston Galloway, are going to get as much run as possible, but that's about the only thing you can rely on with this franchise.

Most recently, the Knicks lost by 18 at home to the Cavaliers. Five of the team's seven losses during this losing streak have come by 11 points or more, which has become a common theme.

NBA Pick
Call us crazy, but we're backing the Celtics at this high number, though we have to be honest and say that this is more of a fade of the Knicks than anything else.

Whereas Boston has been competitive a lot of nights and appear to be giving a good effort on a nightly basis, New York has all but given up and has no qualms about losing. That makes siding with Derek Fisher's team nearly impossible.

So, with the Celtics at home and looking to improve to 6-4 over their last 10, we think they'll have little trouble eventually running away from the lowly Knicks. With our NBA picks, we're going to ride with Boston to overcome this awful New York squad.
