The Clippers should be out for blood tonight when they play host to a surprisingly competitive Bucks team. Come see why we're banking on a blowout win for LA in this situation.

Odds Overview
Glancing over the NBA odds, we see that sportsbooks are expecting a pretty comfortable Clippers win in a high-scoring affair.

LA is currently favored by 10 points by oddsmakers, and we have a total of 211.5 on the board right now. The Clippers come in with the fourth-best scoring offense in the NBA, averaging 106.5 points

Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers went through a dominant stretch there in late November through early December, but they've cooled off, especially in their most recent outings.

Coming into tonight, LA has lost three of their last five contests, falling to the Wizards, Bucks and Nuggets. Both of their wins came at home over Indiana and Detroit.

Chris Paul and company will be hoping to bounce back in style tonight after losing in Denver last night. Despite huge games from Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, the Clippers still came up short against the Nuggets. They gave up a staggering 38 points in the fourth quarter to end up losing 109-106. CP3 had 17 points, 15 assists, five rebounds and three steals, Griffin had 32 points, 12 rebounds, while Jordan had 11 points, 14 boards, three steals and two blocks. Their performances weren't enough.

It's a dog-eat-dog world in the Western Conference, as there are so many talented teams that are going to be vying for playoff spots. LA is in a great spot to end up with a high seed -- we still have a long ways to go, obviously -- but Doc Rivers' squad certainly has some areas, especially on the defensive end, that they need to address.

Milwaukee Bucks
If you can believe it, the Bucks currently hold a winning record. They're 14-13 on the year, surprising a ton of people with their early-season play.

In terms of recent form, Milwaukee has earned wins in three of the team's last four games. In that span, the Bucks have beaten this Clippers team, along with the Suns and Kings. Their one loss came in Portland, even in that game Milwaukee was able to stay close and make a game of it.

The Bucks have the benefit of having an extra day of rest, as they've been off since Thursday's win over Sacramento. Brandon Knight had a 20/5/4 line in leading Milwaukee, but with Jabari Parker injured and Larry Sanders suspended, the shorthanded Bucks had to lean on some lesser-used rotation guys like Jared Dudley and Jerryd Bayless, both of whom scored at least 17 points. Milwaukee shot 49.3 percent as a team in the win.

It's not like the Bucks have dominated in a particular phase of their game. They've just been finding ways to grind out wins, and that could end up going a long way in a Eastern Conference that just doesn't stack up (in terms of talent) with the West.

NBA Pick
You've got to give credit to Jason Kidd and the work he's done with the Bucks. They've been far better than a lot of people expected them to be, and it's been rare to see them get blown out.

However, we don't see them being able to stay with a motivated Clippers team in this spot. LA will be out for revenge after losing in Milwaukee just last week, and they can't be happy that they let one get away last night in Denver either. This sets up as a great bounce-back opportunity, so we're eager to take advantage by beating the NBA betting odds.

With CP3 and Griffin setting the tone, back the Clippers to win in convincing fashion inside the Staples Center. Good luck with your NBA picks!
