It’s the start to another week of nice NBA action, and here on Monday with six NBA odds to choose from, there is still enough value on the board to make some money.

Mavericks vs. Sixers
Dallas and Philadelphia are the first game of the night to tip off, and the NBA odds have Dallas as a -8 ½ point favorite on the road, with a total of 200 points. Now that they are getting healthier, the Mavs are looking like a potential playoff team. Wes Matthews has come back looking like the player he was before rupturing his achilles last season, and while he isn’t fully back yet, Chandler Parsons will make a huge impact on this team going forward. Although it’s still early, Dallas has won their last three games in a row SU, and they embarrassed the Rockets on Saturday night, sitting Dirk Nowitzki and Matthews, while still getting a double-digit win. While the spread is inviting, now that they are in the midst of a 2-game mini East coast road trip, the total is where I’m going with this NBA pick.

Dallas’ offense has been really ramping up as of late. They are averaging 106 points per game over their three-game winning streak, and against the Sixers they should have little issue scoring the ball. In their winless start to the season, Philadelphia is averaging giving up nearly 105 points per game, and with a total of only 200 points, you have to think the Mavs will be around that number or higher. As long as the Sixers can get above the 90-point mark, I have faith the Mavs can score enough to make the over one of the better total plays of the night.

NBA Pick: OVER 199 at TheGreek

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2882612, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]

Pacers vs. Bulls
One of three 8 PM Eastern starts here on Monday night is a Central Division battle between the Bulls and Pacers. The NBA odds have the Pacers as +5 underdogs on the road here, with a total of 196 points. While this total might seem legitimate for a Pacers and Bulls game last season, this year these two team’s defenses have been pretty bad to start the season, and they are both playing at a faster pace.

To start the season, the Bulls have the 10th fastest pace of any team in the NBA, and while the Pacers are at 23, that’s still higher than they were last season. On top of that, while both teams are in the top ten in the league so far in opponents’ points per game and defensive efficiency, neither of them have played great talent to start the season.

Chicago has also been playing very well at home this season, especially on offense. They are averaging 98 points per game at home this season, and as long as both teams can exceed that point total and get into the 100s, the over is the play.

Chicago is currently giving up more rebounds to their opponents that any other team in the league, which is going to do wonders for this smaller Pacers team. With both teams sporting quicker and more offensive oriented starting lineups, I see both teams getting into the 100s. Take the over once again, and add it to your NBA picks.

NBA Pick: OVER 196.5 at 5Dimes

[/]{"component":"oddswidget", "eventId":2882614, "sportsbooksIds":[1096,19,93,92,238,349], "LineTypeId":3, "PeriodTypeId":1}[/]
