Best NBA Parlays Today: Picks, Predictions for Thursday's Games

Find out if Marcus Smart and the Boston Celtics can stop R.J. Barrett and the New York Knicks in our NBA SGP predictions for Thursday.

Jarrett Allen scored just 12 points in his return to the Cleveland Cavaliers' lineup, so should we be taking the Under on his points prop for Thursday? Jon Metler shares two of his favorite NBA same-game parlays for Thursday's games using the latest NBA odds. 

The Cavaliers head to Brooklyn to take on the Nets on Thursday, and I'm interested in a Cleveland duo to headline our same-game parlay for that matchup.

NBA SGP predictions: Cavaliers vs. Nets

Donovan Mitchell 4+ assists vs. Nets (-135)

For starters, we're going to use Mitchell's 4-plus assists instead of his Over 3.5 assists because the juice on the 4-plus assists is -135 and the juice on the Over 3.5 assists is -140. I love it when that happens, thanks FanDuel for the free five cents. 

At -135, the juice looks high, but Mitchell is projected for 4.6 assists against the Nets. We can price Mitchell at -195 for four or more assists against the Nets based on this projection.

Jarrett Allen Over 12.5 points vs. Nets (-125)

Allen returned from injury on Tuesday and scored 12 points against the Nets. If I was a trends guy, I'd play the Under, but I'm not, so we're looking at the Over. 

Allen is projected to score 14.4 points against the Nets, which is way above his total of 12.5 and means -125 on 12.5 points is too low. This prop should trade at -155, not -125, based on our projection.

NBA SGP predictions: Knicks vs. Magic

Mitchell Robinson Over 6.5 points vs. Magic (-113)

There's no doubt in my mind that this will go down as one of the most frustrating seven points you've ever rooted for, but you're getting a great number on this prop.

Robinson is projected to score 7.7 points against the Magic, which means this prop can be priced at -135. As we're seeing DraftKings and Caesars price the Over at -120, FanDuel is quite low on their juice on Robinson.  

RJ Barrett Over 18.5 points vs. Magic (-113)

I'm loving the price FanDuel is offering on Barrett's point prop. Both BetRivers and DraftKings have the Over 18.5 points trading at -125, but FanDuel offers it at -113.

Our projections agree with the higher price we're seeing on DraftKings and BetRivers, because we're able to price Barrett at -130 based on a projection of 20.2 points. 

Editor's note: Robinson's points prop has been pulled with news that he's listed as questionable for Thursday's game. Barrett's points prop has subsequently jumped up a point. If Robinson plays and the market adjusts, this SGP is still recommended.
