Best NBA Parlays Today: Picks, Predictions for Tuesday's Games

Will Jayson Tatum score more than 28.5 points and stop the Sacramento Kings from lighting the beam? Jon Metler shares two of his favorite NBA same-game parlays for Tuesday's games using the latest NBA odds. 

We almost swept the NBA same-game parlays on Monday, but we ended up with a 1-1 record and winning 1.64 units, thanks to Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. 

Can Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart help the Boston Celtics maintain their division lead over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, but more importantly, can they help us win some units?

Here are our NBA SGP picks for Tuesday (odds via FanDuel Sportsbook).

NBA SGP predictions: Cavaliers vs. Nets

Nic Claxton Over 11.5 points vs. Cavaliers (+100)

FanDuel is offering the best price on the market for the Over on Claxton's points prop, and this is most likely going to move throughout the day. DraftKings is trading the Over 11.5 points at -110, while Caesars is trading it at -114, yet we're able to purchase this at +100 through FanDuel. 

Why is it going to move throughout the day? Well, Claxton should be trading with a total of 12.5 points, and the Over definitely shouldn't be plus money. As Claxton is projected to score 13.1 points against the Cavaliers, we can price the Over 11.5 points at -145 instead of +100.

Darius Garland Over 7.5 assists vs. Nets (+112)

This prop opened at a price of +118 at FanDuel and has only moved one direction to +112. The pricing on this prop is likely to continue to move toward the Over in the long run, however, it will take some time.

It's likely that this prop will fluctuate between +105 and +115 throughout the day, with one final move occurring before tipoff to push it closer to -105. As Garland is projected to have eight assists against the Nets, we can price the Over 7.5 assists at -110, which is why I believe it will close around -105. 

NBA SGP predictions: Celtics vs. Kings

Jayson Tatum Over 28.5 points vs. Kings (-115)

While the Boston Celtics were on cruise control for most of the season, they have now lost the top seed in the Eastern Conference to the Milwaukee Bucks, and the 76ers are only a half game behind them in the Atlantic Division. Against the Utah Jazz, a game in which the Celtics lost, Tatum only attempted 12 field goals. I expect that to change on Tuesday. 

As Tatum is projected to score 31.3 points against the Kings, we can price him at -150 to go Over his total of 28.5 points. Tatum at 30-plus points is currently priced at +100 and might also be worth considering. Our projections indicate that both bets will generate a positive expected value of 11%, with the Over 28.5 point bet showing a slight edge at a price of -115. 

Marcus Smart Over 5.5 assists vs. Kings (+102)

Smart missed the Celtics' previous game against the Jazz on Saturday due to a hip contusion, but he isn't listed on the injury report for Tuesday's game against the Kings. Considering that Smart is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, I expect him to spend a significant amount of time guarding De'Aaron Fox. 

We have seen the betting markets undervalue Smart's assist prop for weeks now, and we're seeing it again on Tuesday. We shouldn't be receiving a plus-money price on the Over because Smart is projected to drop 6.3 dimes against the Kings. Based on Smart's projection of 6.3 assists, I have the Over priced at -145.
