Despite <span data-term="goog_435248239" tabindex="0">Tuesday’s</span> (112-111) squeaker over Boston on this court, the Bucs are just 2-7 SU, 3-6 ATS on the trot. We can’t really expect that win to build momentum, as Milwaukee is a lean 8-12 ATS, following a victory this season. Milwaukee is mired in the 13th spot of the <a href="" target="_blank" title="Seeking Future Betting Value In the Western Conference">Western Playoff queue</a> (a full 6 games behind Charlotte for the 8th and final spot). Worse news is that there are 5 teams they would need to leap frog for them to receive a playoff invitation. This means Milwaukee is looking to be a “seller” at the upcoming trade deadline.  That’s a scenario that rarely breeds confidence on a non-contender.</p> <p>The Washington Wizards, at least have playoff hopes remaining. Though 23-27 SU for the season, they are just 1 game back of the Hornets in the loss column for the playoff spot. In a meaningful way, the Wizards have accomplished this with a winning road record, 1 of only 4<a href="" target="_blank" title="Cavs Clear Favorite In The East As Dark Horses Loom"> Eastern Conference</a> teams to post a winning mark away from home, and 1 of only 8 teams in the entire NBA to do so. Washington has the veteran guard play in Beal and Wall to continue their excellence on the road and challenge for the golden playoff ticket. Wall will enter his 3rdstraight All Star game on a major hot streak, averaging 28 PPG with 12 APG in his last 4 games. In the victory against NY on Tuesday, he dished out 17 assists.  In the 4-game streak, Wall has knocked down 11/17 (3) point attempts. This not only provides points for Washington but also opens up the floor for Wall to be more creative when taking the ball to the basket. Three-point shooting has been a big reason why Washington has dominated the 3 games in the series. The Wizards have connected on 36 triples in the 3 games (12 each contest) compared to just half that many for Milwaukee.       </p> <p>With Milwaukee struggling to close out games (they were outscored in the final quarter in each of the 5 losses preceding their Boston victory <span data-term="goog_435248241" tabindex="0">Tuesday</span>) and Washington owning the series with fundamental dominance, one can only back the Washington Wizards at this small underdog price, as they close out the first half of the NBA season with a victory.</p> <p>I invite you to put the <a href="" target="_blank" title="Check Our Live Betting Odds Board">NBA odds</a> in your favor and join me in my <a href="" target="_blank" title="Free NBA Picks &amp; Previews">NBA pick</a> on the Washington Wizards <span data-term="goog_435248242" tabindex="0">tonight</span>.</p>
