For tonight's NBA action, we're gravitating towards two favorites that look to hold appealing value. Which two teams are getting our love?

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Charlotte Bobcats

The Grizzlies, winners of four straight, are making their move in the Western Conference and will go for another victory tonight in Charlotte. Memphis is a small 1.5-point favorite, with the total at either 179.5 or 180 depending on the sportsbook.

The four wins for the Grizzlies have come over the Clippers, Knicks, Magic and Wizards, with the team recording a 2-2 ATS split in that span.

As for the Bobcats, they're on a winning run of their own, having won three in a row and four of their last five. They've beaten the Pistons twice to go along with last night's 90-87 triumph over Anthony Davis and the Pelicans.

However, in tonight's matchup, we like the Grizzlies for a few reasons.

For one, Memphis has been better on the road (15-9 SU, 14-9-1 ATS) than at home (16-14 SU, 11-19 ATS) and they're coming up against a Charlotte team that hasn't exactly lit the world on fire at home with an even 14-14 SU record.

Then there's the fact the Grizzlies have been far better on back-to-backs this season. They've gone 6-4 SU and 5-5 ATS on no days of rest, which easily trumps Charlotte and their 4-12 SU and 5-11 ATS marks.

This is a focused Memphis team right now, one that's excelled ever since Marc Gasol returned from injury. Role players like Mike Miller are stepping up their game and now one of their best defenders in Tony Allen is back. We really like what the Grizzlies are doing, so we'll put our faith in them here.

NBA Pick: Memphis Grizzlies -1.5

Brooklyn Nets vs. Golden State Warriors

In a fight for their lives in the loaded Western Conference, the Warriors need every win they can get at this point, especially when at home at Oracle Arena.

Tonight Golden State will play host to Brooklyn, with the NBA betting lines showing the home team favored by five to six points.

On the year, the Warriors are 33-22 SU and 25-27-3 ATS, while the Nets are 25-27 SU and 26-26 ATS. Golden State is 17-10 SU and 11-14-2 against the spread at home, with Brooklyn at just 8-16 SU and 11-13 ATS on the road.

There's no doubt the Nets have been playing way better over the last couple of months. They come in having won three of four and five of their last seven, with the standout win coming at home over the Spurs (103-89).

The Warriors have also won three of their past four, with their best win coming their last time out over Houston (102-99) in overtime. Their one defeat in that span came at the hands of LeBron James and the Heat.

So why do we think Golden State is the better play tonight? We think confidence will be high after the win over the Rockets, who had entered that game as the hottest team in the NBA. The Warriors also have the Mavericks and Grizzlies breathing down their necks in the playoff picture, so every win is crucial at this point.

We like the chances of Golden State in this one, regardless of Andrew Bogut being out. The energy of Draymond Green has been key lately and David Lee has stepped up his game in a big way. Oh, then there's the Splash Brothers out on the perimeter. Take the Warriors tonight for your basketball picks.
