With two of my favorite players on two of my favorite teams seemingly down for the count, my morning took a turn for the worse..
However, the one thing that might make me feel better is cashing a couple of winners, and after a 1-1 night on Friday, let’s get back on the grind tonight with a couple more NBA Picks. I am currently 17-5 in my last 22 NBA Picks.
Knicks vs. Wizards
The Wizards got a huge game from John Wall last night, however they could not come back against the Raptors. Now they head back home tonight to play the Knicks, and the NBA Odds have the Wizards as -2 favorites coming off of the back to back.
I think I actually like the Knicks here taking two points. Even though they are dealing with a banged up Raymond Felton, the Knicks don’t necessarily need Felton to cover here. The Wizards are giving up over 102 points per game to start this season, and even though the Knicks haven’t been much better, they have been getting better on defense as the season progresses. They have brought their average points allowed to less than 100 points, and they are 3-1 ATS on the road to start this season.
New York has covered their last two meetings with the Wizards, as well as five of their last six meetings overall. In fact, Washington has won only one of their last 13 meetings with the Knicks. The win came last season in Washington. However tonight, I like the Knicks here. Washington has no one who could potentially stop Carmelo Anthony, and after playing last night, I don’t think they could even if they did.
My Pick: Knicks +2
Bobcats vs. Bucks
Both teams played last night, and both teams lost some tough games. The Bobcats lost at home to the Suns, a game that was not close until the very end of the 4th quarter when the Cats made a run. The Bucks on the other hand were in Philadelphia last night, and after blowing a lead and a big game by Caron Butler, the Bucks lost in overtime.
Tonight the NBA Odds have Milwaukee as a -2 favorite with a total of only 182 points. I could not like the over more in this game, and after these two teams played last night, I see some scoring in their future.
Three of the last four times these two teams have met, the total has gone over. Milwaukee is giving up almost 100 points per game, and while the Cats are continuing to s struggle scoring the ball, Al Jefferson made his return to the lineup last night for Charlotte, which should immediately have a positive effect on their scoring and field goal percentages. After playing last night, both teams should let defense fall by the wayside tonight against one another.
The over is 5-2 in the last seven times these two teams have hooked up, and the over has also cashed for our NBA Picks in four of the last five times these two have met from Milwaukee. I’m taking advantage of the value from this 182-point total, so take the over.
My Pick: ‘Over’ 182[gameodds]5/248068/?r-1=19-43-349-192/us[/gameodds]
