The Spurs are coming into Minnesota off the heels of a hard-fought win on Tuesday night, and now they have to face a much tougher Wolves team on no rest. There is always the chance that the Spurs rest some of their veterans, but for our NBA Pick on this game, I kind of hope they do.

Spurs vs. Wolves

Lately, the Spurs have not been good ATS on the road. They failed to cash ATS on Tuesday night against the Mavs, and over their last four road contests, they are 0-4 ATS and 1-3 SU.

Being without Kawhi Leonard is a big reason for this. At home, role players tend to play better, but on the road is where the stars either make or break you. If the Spurs had Leonard available tonight, this spread would easily be -2 ½ or -3 in favor of the Wolves, even with the back to back.

The Wolves, on the other hand, have been very good when playing at the Target Center. Minnesota is 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS when playing in Minneapolis, and slowly but surely the Wolves are looking like a Tom Thibodeau coached the team.

The Wolves have cashed the under in six straight games, and have held their opponent to less than 100 points in four of their last six games. If the Wolves bring that defense with them here tonight against this tired Spurs team, the under is looking like a fine play for Wednesday night.

Since opening at 210 points, the total has dropped to 208 and is even touching 207 ½ at some shops. The sharps seem to know what’s up as well, so jump on this line as soon as you get a chance.

The best part about this one is that these two teams have already played one another once. Usually, scores start to go down after the first meeting of the season, and I’m banking on that tonight. Take the under and cash from your NBA pick.
