The Spurs lost Sunday afternoon in New York, but they have been very good playing on no rest and against the East this season. With the Pacers losing their last three in a row ATS at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, we recommend laying the points with the road team.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Indiana Pacers

The Pacers have been playing better as of late and they are starting to look like the team that most thought they were going to be this season. However, coming off a loss Sunday to the hapless Knicks the Spurs are going to rebound tonight, as long as no one is rested.

If that’s the case (make sure you double- and triple-check every player’s status before locking in your bet) I love the Spurs here ATS. San Antonio has been one of the best teams playing off a back-to-back this season. They are 7-2 ATS and 8-1 SU and they have not lost SU on the second night of a back to back since November.

They also had to play Sunday afternoon, which gives them almost a full 24 hours of recovery time before they have to take the court in Indianapolis. The Spurs are also 7-5 ATS this season when they are coming off a SU loss. Combine that with the Pacers, who are 0-3 ATS in their last three home games, and you have a nice space for the Spurs to bounce back.

The Pacers may be one of the better SU home teams in the league at 22-7 SU, but they are only 4-5 ATS as home dogs this season and 9-13 ATS vs. the West. Plus, the Pacers are just 4-6 ATS when playing at home vs. Western Conference teams, the Spurs are 12-10-1 ATS as road favorites this season and 7-6 ATS on the road against the East.
