Rockets Sign Veteran Thabo Sefolosha

The Houston Rockets added depth to their roster by signing veteran shooting guard/small forward Thabo Sefolosha to a veteran's minimum contract.  

<div><p>Marc Stein of the New York Times reported the deal: <em>"The Rockets are signing Thabo Sefolosha, league sources say"</em> and per ESPN's Tim MacMahon, Sefolosha's contract is fully guaranteed:</p><p><em>"Thabo Sefolosha's one-year deal with the Rockets for the veteran's minimum is fully guaranteed, sources told ESPN. Quality defender adds depth and was trusted teammate of Russell Westbrook and James Harden in OKC. The vet forward's deal first reported by<br />@TheSteinLine."</em></p><p><a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/Sportsbook/?v=6009&amp;book=Picks-Odds" target="_blank"><img alt src="https://images-production-753931602578.s3.amazonaws.com/5d64050601907f86f3863dc2/original-live-odds-on-all-games-at-sportsbook-review" style="width:100%" /></a></p><p>Thabo Sefolosha has been in the league since the 2006-07 season, the 76ers selected him No. 13 overall in the 2006 NBA Draft and he was traded to the Bulls for the No. 16 pick and cash considerations. He's been a solid perimeter defender throughout his career, he played for the Thunder from 2009 to 2014 and teamed up with James Harden and <a href="https://www.sportsbookreview.com/picks/nba/rockets-will-tweak-starting-lineup-because-of-russell-westbrook/92316/" target="_blank">Russell Westbrook</a> for a while.</p><p>Sefolosha was the starting shooting guard when the Thunder reached the NBA Finals in 2012 and started 367 of his 368 games with OKC.
