New York and Orlando aren't playing for much the rest of the season, but the host Magic get a couple of players back tonight and that could translate to a lot of scoring.

As we get closer to the end of the regular season, we’re going to see a lot of this from bad teams:

With the Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis out and the Magic just generally sucking, there isn’t much hope for either of these teams this season. However, that could be good news with your NBA picks if you go with the "over" in tonight's matchup.

According to Matt Moore of Action Network, since 2005, bad teams are 49-22-1 cashing the "over" in the first two days back from the All-Star break. With New York's defense struggling without Porzingis, Orlando could put up a pretty big score at home in the teams' first action since the break.

The Magic average just less than 105 points per game at home this season, and they are getting back two key components on offense -- another reason to pick "over" the total on the NBA odds board. Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon are probable for this one, and if they can play a good amount of minutes, the Magic's offense takes a big leap forward. According to NBA Wowy, with Gordon and Vucevic both on the floor, Orlando has an offensive rating of 112.6, compared to 106.3 when they are both off the court.
