Our expert NBA handicapper shares his top three totals on Monday’s card. These NBA picks have gone a sizzling 5-0 during the past two days!

Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat
Denver has scored 110 points or more in each of their last six games. During that stretch, Denver averaged 115.6 points scored per game, shot 47.0%, and attempted a robust 95 field goal attempts per contest.

Miami has scored 104 points or more in all of their previous seven games. That time frame includes 111.7 points scored per game, 49.0% shooting, and converting on a superb 45.3% of its three point attempts. What’s been especially noteworthy has been the tempo at which Miami has chosen to play of late. The Heat is averaging 88 field goal attempts per contest during their previous five games, and that’s well above their season number of 81 per outing.

Relative to the current total, this game has the making of a high scoring contest. One of my Monday NBA picks will be indicative of that perception.

Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors
These two teams have seen each of its previous six meetings all go over the total, including all of the three encounters this season. The average total in the three games played during this 2015-2016 NBA campaign was 198.5, and the teams combined to score a lofty average of 217.0 points per contest.

Toronto has scored 101 points or more in each of their previous seven outings, and in twenty-three of its last twenty-six games. Chicago has allowed 100 points or more in eighteen of their last nineteen contests. Based on that data, there’s a high probability of Toronto surpassing the 100 point plateau on Monday. They’ve gone 21-6 (77.8%) over the total during its last twenty-seven games this season when scoring 100 points or more.

Chicago has converted on a stellar 40.7% of their three point attempts during its last five contests. That’s good news for the Bulls, considering Toronto has allowed opponents to make 39.3% of its three point tries over its previous five games.

Portland Trailblazers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
Portland has faced Oklahoma City twice this season, and has struggled offensively in those contests. During those pair of encounters, Portland shot an awful 38.5% from the floor.

Oklahoma City has seen five of its last six games stay under the total. The average total in those contests was 219.0, and there were just a combined 204.8 points scored per game. This will be the Thunder’s third game in the last four days. They’ve averaged only 90.5 points scored per contest in the first two, and also shot a dismal 40.6%. As a matter of fact, Oklahoma City has gone 15-5 (75%) under the total during the past two seasons, when playing in their third game in four days. During their previous five games overall, Oklahoma City has made a paltry 24.6% of their three point shots, and also allowed opponents to convert on only 28.0% of its long distance tries.

The current NBA odds at Bovada clearly provides me with a best number for this wager.
