All-Star guard Kyle Lowry’s status is up in the air, but that doesn’t mean there still isn’t value on this Raptors and Knicks game tonight. Check out our play on the first-half total.

Raptors Vs. Knicks

The Raptors are coming off a nice win last night against the Blazers and they are now -3½ NBA betting favorites in New York against the Knicks. While the back-to-back is a bit concerning, this team has is 7-4-1 ATS this season on no rest, so that’s not what’s concerning.

The concern is Kyle Lowry and whether or not the All-Star plays. For our purposes I am laying off the spread and going instead with a bet on the first half total. At 107, this seems like a great time to bet the 'over' for a couple of reasons.

While the Raptors’ offense obviously takes a hit without Lowry, this is the Knicks and their horrific defense we’re facing tonight. Kristaps Porzingis is probably not going to play, which hurts their defense even more and history has shown that this should be a good play.

These two teams combined for 123 first=half points in their last game and 109 in the one prior to that. While Toronto has yet to play in Madison Square Garden this season, with the Knicks giving up nearly 59 points per first half in their last five games, this one should fly over.
