Top NBA Prop Predictions

Antetokounmpo and Curry six-plus threes combined (-120)

The Bucks-Warriors matchup Thursday night could be an NBA Finals preview. This one isn’t lacking for star power, and I like a prop featuring both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Steph Curry.

Milwaukee is surrendering 14.1 threes per game this season, the second-most in the NBA. Curry leads the league with five triples per game, and he’ll likely be extra motivated tonight in what could be a statement matchup after losing to Memphis in prime time Tuesday.

Don't worry about Antetokounmpo's 3-point stroke. He’s averaging 1.1 triples per game for the second straight season, and the Greek Freak has produced two per game over his last three contests. If you’re still concerned about him hitting even one shot from beyond the arc, Curry has nailed six triples in 15 of his 37 games in 2021-22. Curry could cash this NBA prop pick on his own.

Beverley Over 9.5 points (+110)

Beverley returned to Minnesota’s starting lineup Tuesday after a two-game absence due to a groin injury, and he scored 10 points over 21 minutes. His playing time was minimal in Beverley's first game back, but he still would have cashed this Over, and he’s expected to log more minutes on Thursday.

Jaylen Nowell, Beverley’s primary backup and a capable scorer, will likely miss this game with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, Leandro Bolmaro is still a game-time decision due to health and safety protocols. Expect Beverley to see a bump in shot attempts due to a somewhat depleted backcourt against a high-scoring team.

He’s scored 10-plus points in five straight games, and Beverley is averaging 9.3 points per game in 2021-22. That's his highest scoring average since 2017-18. In a game with the highest total on Thursday, don’t be surprised to see Beverley score in double figures for a sixth straight outing.

Giddey Over 6.5 assists (-134)

The No. 6 pick out of Australia has been compiling stat-stuffing lines every night while regularly flirting with triple-doubles. He's a modest scorer and solid rebounder, but Giddey really excels as a facilitator. The Australian is averaging 6.4 dimes per game this season, and he's been even better lately.

Heading into this one, Giddey has racked up eight assists in two straight games while averaging 8.2 across his last five. There’s a plus-money prop at +265 on him to record at least eight assists. That's intriguing, but I like this play a bit more.

Giddey handed out just four assists the last time these teams met, but the Thunder suffered a 24-point loss. I expect tonight’s matchup to be a bit closer, and Giddey will keep rolling.
