Our handicapper shares his top three totals on Wednesday’s card. Come inside before making any of your NBA picks today, and profit from this compelling betting preview.

Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics
Miami will be playing with no rest this evening following last night’s 99-93 win over Detroit. The Heat has gone 4-1 over the total during their previous five games when playing on no rest. Those contests averaged a combined 210.8 points scored per game. Miami has been very good offensively for an extended period of time now, averaging 109.0 points per game, shooting 50.0%, and converting on 40.3% of its three point attempts during their last twenty-two games.

Boston has scored 100 points or more in each of their previous seven games. The Celtics defensive play has left much to be desired of late. During their previous five outings, Boston allowed 109.0 points per game, and their opponents made a sizzling hot 41.7% of its three point shots.

Relative to the current total, I like this game to be a high scoring affair with all things being considered, and one of my Wednesday NBA picks will concur with that prediction.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors
Memphis has seen each of their three games this season versus Golden State stay under the total. They’ve been a major contributor to those low scoring contests. Memphis averaged a paltry 84.0 points scored per game in those three outings, shot a pathetic 33.2%, and was a dismal 22.0% from three point territory. They’ve also did a fine job of limiting the high powered Warriors to only 80.3 field goal attempts per game, and that’s well below their season average of 87.3. As a matter of fact, during their last fourteen outings overall, Memphis has held opponents to only 75.1 field goal attempts per game.

Current NBA odds at Heritage provides me with a best combination of number and price for this wager.

LA Clippers vs. Phoenix Suns
The Clippers have gone under the total in four of its previous five games, and their defensive play has been outstanding during that stretch. They’ve allowed an average of just 87.2 points per contest, and aslo held opponents to 38.3% shooting. Los Angeles has allowed less than 100 points in each of its last five, and nine of their previous eleven games.

Phoenix has gone 6-1 under the total during its last seven home games, and that includes each of their previous four. Those previous four home outings averaged a combined 199.7 points scored per game.
