I’m back once again to release my NBA Prop Picks from Bovada sportsbook. While they haven’t been great over the last few days, I think I may have found three winners tonight for Game 5 of the WCF.
Stephen Curry O/U 11.5 Rebounds and Assists
Stephen Curry has been everything short of invincible during the playoffs, and even though his young team couldn’t sweep the Rockets, they are going to end this series tonight. They dominated the Rockets in Game 3 of this series, and now back at home away from Houston, as long as Curry is ok from his ugly fall, he should be a great play here for this prop. He did not go after rebounds very much in Game 4 of the series, but even throughout this series, he hasn’t been great in rebounding or assisting. He hasn’t had more than seven assists in a game in the first four games of this series, and while his rebound against Dwight Howard a few nights ago was impressive, it hasn’t been an area where he has excelled in the postseason. In this series Curry is only averaging nine rebounds and assists per game, and I see that trend continuing tonight. The NBA odds from Bovada have the under at +100, and it should be a great value.
NBA Pick: UNDER 11 ½ rebounds and assists (+100)
Trevor Ariza -1 ½ vs. Harrison Barnes +1 ½ points
I haven’t used one of the versus props yet from Bovada, but with our prop NBA picks going cold this week so far, I thought it might be a great chance to shake things up. Speaking on inconsistent, Trevor Ariza has been everything but consistent so far in this series, but he busted out of his mini slump in Game 4 as he scored 17 points after two straight games of only seven points, and up against Harrison Barnes tonight, I feel pretty confident that Ariza will show up again here facing elimination, and beat out Barnes for points scored. While Barnes scored more than 11 ½ beating us in our prop two nights ago, Ariza is a much more capable scorer and shooter, and I see him beating out Barnes tonight by at least two points.
NBA Pick: Ariza -1 ½ (-120)
Draymond Green O/U 29 ½ Points, Rebounds and Assists
Finally tonight we have our boy, Draymond Green, who easily cashed the over for us in this very same prop two nights ago, and I am once again going back to the well with Draymond tonight. He has simply been amazing at rebounding and passing in this series, as he has been basically mini-Lebron in regards to his triple double watches. While I’m not willing to wager on whether Green will be able to drop a triple double tonight, I am willing to take the over with his points, rebounds and assists. After Game 4, Green is averaging 16 points, 12 rebounds and six assists per game for the series, and in Game 4 he was spectacular even in the loss, scoring 21 points on 9-14 shooting, and adding five blocked shots before fouling out. As long as he isn’t in foul trouble tonight, Green should be able to hit the over tonight with this one, despite the large amount of chalk.
NBA Pick: OVER 29 ½ points, rebounds and assists (-135)
