It’s one of the final nights of the NBA regular season, and there is only a couple of opportunities left to take advantage of some prop picks. Here are my three best prop picks for Monday.

Jae Crowder O/U 21 ½ points and rebounds
Jae Crowder and the Boston Celtics play an important game tonight against the Hornets. Both teams are fighting for the final two home court advantage spots in the first round, and both will be gunning for this win. Enter Crowder, who spent some time on the shelf with a busted ankle, but is looking healthy and ready for the playoffs after four straight good games.

Tonight against the Hornets though, his points and rebounds prop is simply too low. In two games against the Hornets this season, Crowder is already averaging 17.5 points, and he is posting rebounding averages of 9.5 in those two games. Crowder could cash the over on this prop with just points, but with rebounds, it makes it a virtual steal.

The Hornets rank in the bottom ten in the league in rebounds allowed this season, and they are second to last in Offensive Rebounding Rate. Crowder should play the boards tough in this one, and considering the Hornets are allowing over 20 points and 8 rebounds per 48 minutes to small forwards this season, take the over with Crowder.

NBA Prop Pick: Over 21½ points and rebounds -115

Ricky Rubio O/U 23 ½ points, rebounds, and assists
Ricky Rubio and the Wolves play host to a desperate Houston Rockets team tonight in a must-win game for Houston. Ricky Rubio has been up and down as of late, and tonight he may be more down than up. He has to go against Patrick Beverley, one of the toughest point guard defenders in the NBA, and history is not on his side.

In six career games against Beverley, Rubio is averaging 20.5 points, rebounds and assists. Even if Rubio gets to double-digit assists tonight, he has failed to reach double figures in scoring in his last six games, and he hasn’t had five or more rebounds in four straight games. Take the under on Rubio as your NBA Pick tonight.

NBA Prop Pick: Under 23½ points, rebounds and assists -115

Gordon Hayward O/U 29 points, rebounds and assists
The Jazz are another team in must-win mode here tonight, so you can bet they will get another stellar performance from Gordon Hayward. That’s why I’m having trouble understanding why Bovada has his prop so low. In his last six games, Hayward has scored at least 21 points in five of the. Plus, he has grabbed a total of 22 rebounds in his last two games, and dished out at least five assists in four of his last seven games.

Dallas has actually been pretty good against small forwards this season, but Hayward has also been really good against Dallas. He would have pushed or cashed the over in both of his games against Dallas this season, and with the way he has been dishing and rebounding lately, look at the over on the NBA Odds on this one.

NBA Prop Pick: Over 29 -115

Minnesota Timberwolves O/U 106.5 points
The Wolves taking points are one of my best plays of the night, but that wouldn’t be the case if they weren’t going up against the horrific defense of the Rockets, who are coming in on no rest. The Wolves have been playing well recently, winning and covering their last three games in a row, and scoring an average of almost 112 points in those three games.

The Rockets on the other hand are giving up an average of 108.2 points per game on the road, and they are allowing almost 112 points per game when playing on no rest this season. The Wolves would love to play playoff spoiler against the Rockets in this one, and with Houston’s defense playing so badly, (they just allowed 110 points to the Lakers yesterday) look for the Wolves to get above 106 on the odds offered at Bovada.

NBA Pick: Wolves Over 106.5 -115
