Denver Nuggets vs. Brooklyn Nets 7:35PM ET
When last I featured SBR Videos, we split a pair of Friday offerings with a resounding win on the San Antonio Spurs but surprising loss by the Columbia Lions. We then topped off our highly successful football season with our call on the Denver Broncos. The current record for CBKB and NBA selections on SBR videos is 28-10 ATS last 4 weeks. With the football season behind us, we turn our attention to basketball winners only for the next 8 weeks. Perennially, second meets, the CCTs and the first 2 rounds of the NCAA have been the strongest time of year for this bureau. Here’s hoping that continues in 2016. Now, on to today’s winner!

Betting Analyis
After beating the NY Knicks (101-96) at MSG Sunday afternoon, the Nuggets cross the East River to face Brooklyn tonight at the Barclays Center.  I would feel much better about this selection, if I knew the Nuggets did not party into the wee hours last night in celebrating the Super Bowl Championship of their city brethren.  But with nearly a full 24 hours to recuperate and virtually no time travel involved, I look for the Nuggets to continue their momentum as they face off with the lowly Nets.

It was hoped that when new HC Tony Brown replaced Lionel Hollins, that it would signify a turnaround for Brooklyn. But, the loss of PG Jack (OFY) seems to have had a greater impact. The Nets are just 3-12 SU of late with one of those defeats coming at lowly Philly on Saturday by a count of 103-98. Now, Brooklyn is on a 2-13 SU slide. It is only getting worse, as in their last 7 contests, they are 1-6 SU allowing 106 PPG. Playing at their Barclays Center home has been no bargain, as they are 9-20 SU and 10-15 ATS as home dog. They are being outscored on this court by an average of 102-96. Very tough to get interested in them at this price range, as they appear virtually incapable of victory!

Just the opposite is true for the Denver Nuggets, who have turned things around in a time period that is roughly coordinated to the return of their 19 year old PG Mudiay and their veteran scorer, Gallinari. The Nuggets enter today on a 13-2 ATS run and have won 4/6 outright. That includes coming from 16 down vs. Chicago on Fridaynight to parlay a 42-21 4th quarter into a (115-110) victory in Denver. They followed it up Sunday afternoon with a (101-96) win. They now enter this contest winners of 4/6 with an outside shot at reaching the playoffs.  It is hopeful that motivation prevents any letdown after their win at MSG or potential partying last night.

I invite you to put the NBA odds in your favor and join me in my NBA pick on the Denver Nuggets this evening.
