Chicago Bulls vs. Milwaukee Bucks 7:05 ET TNT TV
The Chicago Bulls travel north to Milwaukee for the continuation of their Round 1, seven game series in the 2015 NBA Playoffs. Chicago was cruising in this series with a 3-0 lead after winning Game 1 (103-91), Game 2 (91-82) and Game 3 in Milwaukee (113-106) in OT. But, the Bucks bounced back with a (92-90) win in Game 4 and added a (94-88) win in Chicago to return home with the momentum of a 2-game win streak and the belief that they can be the first team ever to win a 7-game series after trailing 3 games to none.

In Monday’s Game 5 Milwaukee victory, it was a coming out party for Michael Carter Williams. He scored 22 points, had 8 rebounds and dished out 9 assists.  This mid-season acquisition from Philadelphia is at last providing the leadership expected for this group of young Bucks.

Milwaukee is the big surprise of the 2015 NBA season. After winning just 15 games last year and projected to win only 24 for the season, Milwaukee entered the playoffs with a 41-41 regular season record.  It should be noted that it was a bit of return to reality after Milwaukee posted a 29-23 All Star Break record.  But, they enter tonight with back-to-back victories and the confidence of a young team that can be dangerous.  Led by 1st year HC Kidd, they can be a dangerous team, whose 24-19 home record is equal to that of Chicago on the road.

Chicago has admitted to complacency in their previous 2 contests. A closer look at the statistics for the previous 2 games says that it may be just as much about Derrick Rose. He struggled big time in those games, including scoring just 13 points in the 94-88 loss. But, the Bulls are as healthy as they have been all season long.  I look for Chicago to rebound tonight, following back-to-back poor performances in which they have shot just 40% from the field with a 45/41 assist/TO ratio. Rose has 14 TOs and only 8 assists in those games, combining for just 27 points on 10/33 shooting.

Look for Chicago with the greater experience and the superior defense to bounce back from consecutive defeats. Only 3 teams have forced a Game 7 after trailing 3-0 in an NBA playoff series. Chicago prevents that from happening for a 4th time tonight in a convincing bounce-back victory.
