The Pistons’ offense is being reshaped with Blake Griffin, but the sportsbooks have been slow to recognize the shifts. Let's capitalize tonight when the Blazers visit Detroit.

Here is a look at everyone’s face after an amazing Super Bowl on Sunday night:

Now here’s my face knowing the NFL season is over and the NBA is the only thing to watch until the weather gets warm:

One of the better and more unexpected storylines making headlines is Blake Griffin being traded from the Clippers to the Pistons. However, while some are still just getting over the nostalgia, I’m making money.

The Pistons are going to play a lot faster with Griffin as their power forward, and when Reggie Jackson comes back it’s going to get even higher in pace. Since acquiring Griffin, the Pistons have played at a pace of 99.3 possessions per game and their offensive rating is 111 in those two games.

That’s a huge jump from a struggling offense of the first half. Now at home against a Portland team whose defense can struggle on the road, the "over" looks like a strong value tonight for your NBA picks. The Pistons have cashed the over in five straight games, and the Blazers’ offense has been playing well.

Since Jan. 7 the Blazers are scoring an average of 111.9 points per 100 possessions, and during that stretch they have cashed the over at 10-5. Portland has cashed the over at 3-1 in their last four road games against the East and, based on the number on the NBA odds board, I think they do it again tonight.

On top of all of this, the Blazers played on Sunday. They are 6-3 cashing the over on no rest this season.
