Even though there are only a few games on the night of the Final Four, there is still some nice value plays coming from the NBA Odds to compliment your big college basketball selections tonight.

 Kings vs. Wolves

The Sacramento Kings have officially been eliminated from the playoffs and they are trying to secure a top draft pick this summer after disastrously trading away DeMarcus Cousins for a song. They are also coming off a back to back and are against a team that is basically facing trying to win out to at least keep their playoff hopes alive as long as possible.

With that in mind and the Wolves’ continued solid play at home after the All-Star Break, I am loving the Wolves on the first quarter and a half against the tanking Kings.

These two teams played one another from Sacramento right after the All-Star Break and the Wolves came out and destroyed them from start to finish. They ended up down at the end of the first quarter but then followed that up with a 40-point second quarter and held the Kings to just 19 points in that period.

If we can get that same kind of locked in focus from a team that is still technically alive in the playoff race, I like the Wolves to grab ahold of this game and dominate from the opening tipoff.

Suns vs. Blazers

Another first half play that I have my eye on tonight is the Suns and Blazers. The Suns are obviously tanking to try and get the number one pick in the draft, but their young players have shown some flash on the offensive end.

Combine that with a game against a Blazers team that is red-hot and up two games on the rest of the West for the 8th spot in the playoffs.

However, all is not so rosy for the Blazers. They are likely going to be without Jusuf Nurkic for the rest of the regular season as he is dealing with a leg injury. While that could hurt the Blazers’ offense, it will certainly hurt their defense.

According to Basketball Reference, the Blazers allow nearly four more points per 100 possessions to opposing teams without Nurkic and while their offense does lose some, I have no doubt that against a team like the Suns, the Portland guards can pick up the slack.

There are also some trends of high-scoring first halves between these two this season. Over three meetings this year, the Suns and Blazers have averaged nearly 115 points per first half and that’s what I’m hoping for in their fourth and final meeting tonight.
