Thanks to Detroit not even bothering to show up last night, we had to settle for a 1-1 night. However, Wednesday’s big slate of NBA Odds is here and I am about to bring you two of my best bets for the night’s slate of games.

  Grizzlies vs. Bulls

United Center, Chicago, IL
8:00 pm E.T

The Chicago Bulls finally got a win two nights ago and all it took was playing the team’s best players. Who would have thought that would be the key, huh! Regardless, assuming Rajon Rondo and Nikola Mirotic are out of the doghouse again tonight, that gives them some nice weapons against another struggling team, the Memphis Grizzlies.

Memphis’ defense has all but fallen apart recently, especially on the road. Over their last seven games overall, Memphis is allowing almost 111 points per game and it’s 106.1 per game on the road over their last seven road games.

However, tonight against one another, this could turn into a higher scoring game. Back in January, these two teams played to a 108-104 final and I could see a similar score tonight while in Chicago. If you ignore that horrific stretch of recent games that started with a win against the Warriors, the Bulls were cashing the over a lot better at home earlier in the season.

Combine that with the Grizzlies, who are 23-10 cashing the over on the road this season and they are 7-5-1 cashing the over when playing against the East on the road. I see a competitive game here with not a ton of defense, so add the over to your NBA Picks tonight.

  Pelicans vs. Heat

American Airlines Arena, Miami, FL
7:30 pm E.T

The Pelicans roasted the Blazers last night in an easy win, which saw the Pelicans perform well on both ends of the court. However, now on the second half of a back to back, the Pels are heading to South Beach to face a heat team that should have their best player back tonight.

Goran Dragic was forced to sit out a game on Monday thanks to his eye being swollen shut. However, he says he is ready to play tonight, which is good news for the Heat on both ends of the court. Dragic is a sound defender and he will be crucial in slowing down Jrue Holiday.

With Hassan Whiteside playing good defense on DeMarcus Cousins and the ability for the Heat to pressure Anthony Davis with James Johnson, the Heat are built well t matchup with the Pelicans.

However, the Heat have a ton of guard talent on this team and that advantage is going to give them an edge, especially in the first half with the Pelicans coming off that game last night.

After a win like that, the Pelicans might relax some, which is not good against this tougher Heat team. I see Miami coming out and trying to step on the necks of New Orleans in this one. The Heat have had a full two days off in-between tonight and their last game. Considering they have played well in the first half at home lately, I see them covering the -3 first half NBA Odds tonight.
