It’s another huge night of NBA action and with only a few days of the regular season left, our handicappers are buckling down to get as much value left before the start of the playoffs!

Heat vs. Raptors

Miami and Toronto are in must win games tonight. Toronto needs to keep winning to hold onto the 3rd seed in the Eastern Conference, while the Heat need a win tonight to move back into the playoffs after Indiana and Chicago both won last night.

By all accounts this should be a good game and while these two teams have consistently cashed the under against one another this season, tonight that may be about to change.

Even with so much on the line, with Kyle Lowry back this Raptors offense should be back to clicking on all cylinders. It may take him some time to fully get back in the groove, but at home in a game they need to win if they want to continue avoiding the Cavs until a potential ECF showdown, I see Lowry and the Raptors’ offense exploding on Miami in this one.

The Heat have been solid defensively this season, but by all accounts I don’t think they can keep Toronto less than 105 to 110 points tonight. If that happens this is going to be a close enough game where the over is the play. I expect it to be close, which should increase the offense in the fourth quarter, especially late. It may be defensive at first, but look for the scoring to pick up later in the game for an over win.

Thunder vs. Suns

The Thunder have officially sealed the 6th seed in the West and they are lucky enough to know that they will be matched up against the Rockets in the first round of the playoffs. Knowing this though gives them the ability to be very careful and loose with their final four games.

They are on the road for three of them and while I expect to see Russell Westbrook rest for some of those, tonight he is still one triple-double shy of the record for a season after barely missing it against the Grizzlies. He is also playing a team he is averaging 41.7 points, 13.7 rebounds and 13.7 assists against this season.

With a need to drop only six more dimes to average a triple-double for the year and the need for one more to break Oscar Robinson’s record with 42 for the season, Westbrook and the Thunder offense should come out full-force one more time in this one to get Westbrook the record.

His teammates are going to be extra sure to make the shots that come off of nice dishes from Westbrook tonight. Everyone knows what’s at stake and against one of the worst defenses and fastest-paced teams in the league, look for this one to fly over and for Westbrook to have a big night.
