We split a pair of NBA Picks on Sunday’s night slate and went 2-2 on the day. However, with three more games today on a fast-closing first round, let’s get out there and cash some more tickets!

Wizards vs. Hawks

The Wizards could not find their offense in Game 3 outside of John Wall, but that could chance tonight in Game 4. The Hawks will almost surely still have their motivation at home and that could lead to a higher scoring game tonight.

Despite another impressive performance from John Wall in Game 3, the Hawks’ offense woke up as they played their first postseason game from Phillips Arena this season and won Game 3 easily.

Wall’s shooting was impressive, but the rest of the Wizards could not get anything to go in Game 3. However, the Hawks’ offense should continue to thrive at home before the series moves back to DC. Atlanta got huge games from Paul Millsap and Dennis Schroder, but 16 points from Taurean Prince was welcomed too.

Combine that with what should be a turnaround offensively from the Wizards in Game 4 and the over is once again looking like a valuable play for your NBA Picks tonight.

These two teams are playing at a faster pace that any other series other than the Warriors and Blazers. However, with totals from that series and the Rockets/Thunder series regularly going into the mid 220s, we have yet to see that kind of inflation in this series because of the poor shooting from both teams in Games 1 and 2.

However, with the Hawks still at home and with the Wizards potentially bouncing back tonight, I love the over here for my and your NBA Picks.

Warriors vs. Blazers

Without Jusuf Nurkic again and with the potential for the Warriors to bring back Kevin Durant for some limited minutes tonight, it looks like the Dubs are ready to put their foots on the throats of the Blazers.

Jusuf Nurkic was able to play in Game 3, although it wasn’t for a big amount of minutes. That would usually change this series a bit, especially with the injury to Kevin Durant. However, Nurkic was limited in Game 3 of the series and now he is in enough pain that he won’t be able to play in Game 4 tonight.

That is another big blow to this team, because even though they probably won’t there is a chance that Kevin Durant makes his return tonight to close out this team. Playing it safe with Durant would be understandable, but the Warriors also need to ensure a sweep here to stay healthy heading into what should be a tougher matchup in the next round.

Knowing this, I see the Warriors bringing back Durant on limited minutes tonight and taking this one. Without Nurkic, the Blazers have no rim protection and they also are back to being without one of their better offensive weapons.

Combine that with the better supporting cast if you cancel out the two backcourts and I love the Warriors laying the points here. The Blazers hit the Warriors with everything they had in Game 3 and could still not come away with a win. Now they are behind the eight ball and I see them going on vacation tomorrow instead of heading back to Oakland.
