We split a pair of NBA picks on Thursday thanks to a big second half from the Nuggets, and now we head into Friday with a few more games on the St. Patrick's Day slate and a lot of room for winning picks.

NBA Season Picks Record: 136-139-6

Magic vs. Suns

The Magic and Suns are two tanking NBA teams that both would probably prefer to lose this game. The Suns have now shut down their best player in Eric Bledsoe, and the Magic are doing everything in their power to make it seem like they are still trying to win, but in reality they are tanking just as hard as the Suns.

The sportsbooks don’t even know what to do with this game. The Magic are coming off a loss Wednesday night to the Warriors where the game didn’t even begin to look competitive, and tonight they are probably going to have similar problems.

However, in a game that both teams want to lose, the best play in the NBA odds for this one might be the total of 220 points. The Suns have been solid at cashing the 'over' all season, and with the Magic coming into this one at 9-5 cashing the 'over' on no rest, it looks like a fine play.

The Magic have been successful this season cashing the 'over' when on the road against fast-paced West teams, and with both teams tanking there will be zero defense played in this one.

Bucks vs. Lakers

Don’t look now, but the Bucks have started to play really well. It makes you think about how good they’d be right now if they still had Jabari Parker. Either way, though, the Bucks have gone 7-1 SU and ATS in their last eight and they are starting to look like a team that could make some noise in the early rounds of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

They also get an easy one tonight, but the sportsbooks only have them as -7 favorites against the Lakers. However, I have been fading the Lakers with great regularity over the last few weeks since the trade deadline, and it’s time to do it once again.

The Lakers not only have shut down their veterans they signed over the summer, but they also have been trying to tank even harder by bringing their best player off the bench. D’Angelo Russell might as well just fake an injury and sit out the rest of the season, because the Lakers are going to lose whether he is starting or coming off the bench.

Look for another big win for the Bucks at the expense of the horrible Lakers.
