Take advantage of our expert NBA picks for tonight's game between Oklahoma City & Washington. The Thunder are starting to put together a winning streak now that they're healthy again.

Odds Overview
Though the Thunder are on a good run now, it's going to be tough sledding against the Wizards, and the NBA odds reflect that notion. Right now Washington is favored by 1.5 points on their home floor.

The total for tonight's game is currently trading at 204.5, which means we should be seeing a very entertaining back-and-forth game here.

Washington Wizards
The Wizards are 29-13 on the season and have clearly established themselves as a top favorite in the Eastern Conference. The backcourt of John Wall and Bradley Beal has been playing lights out, and the addition of veteran Paul Pierce has helped too. Washington gained a lot of experience last year and should be contending again this season.

Ahead of tonight, the Wizards have won two in a row and are 7-2 over their last nine games. During that stretch, they've picked up a pair of wins over the Bulls as well as a W over the Spurs, with the team's two defeats coming to the Hawks and Nets. More recently, Washington had no trouble in a 111-76 win over the lowly 76ers on Monday, so the starters should be feeling good and well-rested for this visit of Oklahoma City.

The Wizards are an excellent 18-5 on their home floor this season, and that bodes well for tonight, as they'll need to put forth a great all-around effort to get the best of the talented Thunder. They're behind only Atlanta in the Eastern Conference standings (five games back right now), as they're just ahead of both Toronto and Chicago.

Oklahoma City Thunder
As we've been talking about, the wins should keep on coming for the Thunder, now that their rotation/roster is settled. They've won three in a row and are back over .500 (21-20) for the first time all season long. Yes, it took until late January for Oklahoma City to get a winning record, but now that they're back at full strength, they should only keep getting better and better. Tonight may not be the best night to back the Thunder with your NBA picks, but there are going to be some great opportunities coming up here over the next couple weeks. Don't miss out.

Oklahoma City earned a hard-fought road win over Miami last night, shooting 44.6 percent overall. Kevin Durant had 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, while Russell Westbrook went for 19 points, 10 boards and six assists. He also had four steals. Meanwhile, Reggie Jackson and Anthony Morrow combined for 28 points off the bench for the Thunder.

This is sure to be a great test for Oklahoma City, and as basketball handicappers, we're going to learn some valuable information tonight. If the Thunder grab another win in this very tough spot, we should really start targeting them before oddsmakers catch up.

NBA Pick
There will be a lot of drama surrounding Kevin Durant and his "return" to the nation's capital, and quite rightly so. However, we don't think the Thunder are the right side with our sports picks.

Oklahoma City has been playing better, but Washington's been playing well too and will be at home, where they've had immeasurable success this season. The Wizards are going to want to take care of business here by protecting their home floor and preventing Durant from making a statement. They've got a very well-balanced team and one of the better backcourts in the league, and that should hold them in good stead.

We look for the entire Washington team to rise up to the challenge - we're backing the well-rested home team with our NBA picks on Wednesday night.
