Can anyone stop the Hawks right now? They're on an unbelievable roll, but that's not going to change the fact that it could come tough in New Orleans tonight. Our NBA odds breakdown is inside.

Odds Overview
The Hawks are simply on fire and they're going to keep being favored in the NBA betting odds as long as they play this well. They're laying 4.5 points despite being in a tough road spot against the Pelicans.

Want to try and beat the total? The O/U is at 195 points right now, which suggests we won't be seeing too high-scoring of a game. No surprise there, considering Atlanta is been terrific defensively all year long.

New Orleans Pelicans
Let's start with the most important news here: Anthony Davis practiced and apparently looked normal, and thus he's on track to play tonight against the Hawks. He's listed as probable. Davis has quickly established himself as one of the most dominant players in the entire league, and so his availability is hugely important for the Pelicans.

This is a team that's already trying to contend with a make-shift starting five. Starting point guard Jrue Holiday is out for weeks, meaning Tyreke Evans has had to slide over and run the point. Eric Gordon has taken on more responsbility too, especially here of late when Davis has been out as well.

Up against the hottest team in the NBA, New Orleans is going to need all hands on deck. The Hawks come at you with a great inside duo of Paul Millsap and Al Horford, so having Davis out there disrupting things will be handy. Evans is going to have to have a good game up against Jeff Teague if the Pelicans are to get a win here. Gordon will need to hit his shots too.

Atlanta Hawks
So if you didn't know, the Hawks have won 19 straight games. You read that right. Nineteen! They're now at 40-8 overall this season, which is just insane when you consider they weren't getting much hype earlier on. All of a sudden they're the cream of the crop in the Eastern Conference and are pulling away even further from the pack with each passing day.

This run has been truly incredible, and even though injuries are starting to pop up here and there, the Hawks have still been able to plug along and keep the winning streak alive. They haven't been at their most dominant recently, having to "survive" against the lowly 76ers at home in their most recent taste of live action, but they did what they had to do to get the W. Atlanta, amazingly enough, hasn't tasted defeat since the day after Christmas.

There's some injury concern, most notably with DeMarre Carroll, but the likes of Teague, Millsap, Horford and Korver form a formidable squad and will be a tough team to deal with tonight. The Pelicans are really going to have to buckle down defensively and then play smart offensively if they want a shot.

NBA Pick
We're just not comfortably fading the Hawks at all right now. Not until they give us a reason to stay away.

The chemistry for Atlanta has been tremendous this season and that's a big reason why they've been killing it. The Hawks have already recorded some standout road victories, and we think they'll be able to execute more consistently on their way to a straight up win and ATS cover. The Hawks are one of the few teams in the league who have the inside presence to at least stay toe-to-toe offensively with Davis, and that should hold them in good stead.

In thinking Atlanta will win by five or more, we're taking the road team and adding the Hawks to our NBA picks for a busy Monday night of hoops action.
