After cashing only one of two on Monday night, Tuesday put us right back into the win column for both of my NBA Picks. After a perfect Tuesday, let’s see if we can attack Wednesday’s big slate!

Nuggets vs. Celtics
We cashed the over with both of these clubs yesterday, and now they are facing off against one another on Wednesday! The NBA odds have the Celtics as -2 ½ favorites against the Nuggets in this one, with a total of 200 points. While the Nuggets have been playing pretty badly as of late, they are still going to be able to put up points against the soft Celtics defense. This (on top of the fact that both teams are coming off the back to back) makes the over once again look like a great wager.

As I’ve mentioned before, both of these teams play at a very fast pace, and even off the back to back I bet both teams will play fast. Boston and Denver are both top five in pace this season, and with a total of only 200 points, the over is definitely the play once again tonight.

The over is 11-3-1 for the Celtics in their last 15 games as home favorites, and the over is 16-7-1 for the C’s following a SU win. The over is also 4-0 for the Celtics in their last four games against teams with winning percentages below 40%, and for Denver the over is 6-1 in their last seven games against teams with losing records. Tired legs should lead to sloppy defense, and the total going over tonight.

Grizzlies vs. Jazz
Another team coming off a back-to-back game where they had to travel immediately after it is the Jazz. They fought hard last night in Portland, however ended up losing the game by one point 103-102. Now they have to travel back home to welcome in one of the best teams in the Western Conference this season, the Grizzlies. The NBA Odds have Memphis as -6 ½ road favorites against a tired Jazz team, with a total of 189 ½. Utah is a good young team that probably won’t be bother d too bad by the back to back, but once again Memphis is being undervalued by the NBA Odds, and I am laying the points tonight.

The Grizzlies have won three of their last four games ATS, and with one day off in between games this season, Memphis is 16-11-1 ATS. Memphis is also 7-3-2 ATS in their last 12 games as favorites, and 5-1 ATS in their last six games against teams with losing records. The Jazz have been god recently cashing four of their last five games ATS at home, and they are 4-1 ATS following a SU loss. However dating back to last season, they are only 7-15 ATS when playing on no rest, and they are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games as a home dog between +1 and +5.

Memphis’ defense is going to slow down the Jazz enough to get the win and cover here. While the matchup inside is interesting, the guard and wing play from Memphis is going to be too much. Jeff Green is going to really bother Gordon Hayward on defense, and Mike Conley is going to do the same to either Dante Exum or Trey Burke. Lay the points with Memphis as your NBA pick.
