NBA Parlay Predictions

Clippers -6.5 (-110)

The New Orleans Pelicans have dominated the Los Angeles Clippers of late, winning the last three head-to-head contests. It was an outstanding defensive effort on Nov. 19 that helped the Pelicans earn the victory, as they held Los Angeles to just 81 points.

I expect another defensive struggle in this contest as well, as neither of these teams is particularly adept at shooting. It favors the Clippers to play a slow-down, aggressive defensive game. Los Angeles held opponents to 100 or fewer points in three of its last five games, and that is what I'm looking for the Clippers to do on Monday.

Mavericks -6.5 (-110)

The Dallas Mavericks lost 120-114 to the Washington Wizards on Saturday, but they have been really good at home at 6-2 for the season.

PG Luka Doncic is going to do his part to put his players in a position to knock down shots. They may not have PG Jalen Brunson (foot) for this game, so others might have to continue stepping up to make up for the 15.1 points per game he is averaging.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are criminally underrated defensively, but for the most part, the offense is the same old Cavs. They aren’t consistently hitting shots, and they’re falling flat when it matters most. Dallas is far from perfect, but Doncic is that one top-10 player capable of ruining things for Cleveland. He’ll fight his way to the rim or the free-throw line all night

The latter is something the Mavs need to do more of on the court. However, in a game between two teams lacking in familiarity with one another, I’m laying the points and taking the Mavs to roll to a victory by at least seven points with my top NBA parlay picks.

Heat -7.5 (-105)

We’re looking at a Denver Nuggets team that is reeling right now. Their six straight losses have dropped them below the .500 mark on the season. With SF Michael Porter Jr. (back) and SG P.J. Dozier (knee) out, along with PG Jamal Murray (knee), and the status of C Nikola Jokic (wrist) murky at best here, you have to be concerned about the Nuggets’ chances. The Miami Heat are a good team with six wins in eight games, and they are one of the league’s stingiest teams on the defensive end of the floor with just 102.5 points allowed per game.

The Heat has gotten contributions throughout the rotation, with PG Gabe Vincent the latest player to lead the charge. Miami has better balance scoring-wise and it is at home against a reeling Denver team.

Look for the Heat to come up with the lopsided home victory to round out our top NBA parlay picks.

Combined odds: Clippers -6.5 (-110) + Mavericks -6.5 (-110) + Heat -7.5 (-105) = +611
