With a thin slate of NBA action for Sunday, we get creative with NBA parlay picks that take advantage of the matchups, trends, and injury considerations for the participating teams and players.

In a four-game NBA slate, we're chasing a parlay that feeds off the notion of a bounce-back effort for one of the best offenses in the league, while projecting a unique game script for another top-scoring unit that will be without its best player on Sunday. Let's get wacky.

Here are my top parlay picks for Sunday's NBA matchups (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on 1-to-5-star scale).

Top NBA Parlay Picks

Golden State Warriors Under 106.5 team total points (-115) ????Utah Jazz (-195) vs. Denver Nuggets ???Anthony Edwards Over 3.5 assists (+100) ???

Top NBA Parlay Predictions

Warriors team total points Under 106.5 (-115)

Steph Curry has been ruled out of Sunday's game between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves due to a hand injury. In three games without Curry this season, the Warriors have posted point totals of 105, 100, and 96. Their offensive firepower as a team undoubtedly takes a hit compared to when the sharpshooting guard is in the lineup.

Without Curry and his 26.3 points per game, Golden State enters this game as five-point underdogs. The Warriors will lean on their top-ranked defense in the NBA to try and slog out a tough win on the road against Minnesota. Though the Timberwolves rank 12th in the NBA in scoring average, I project the Warriors to force a slower tempo rather than racing to outscore their opponent without their star point guard.

Therefore, we're taking Under the Warriors' team total to kick off our NBA parlay picks.

Jazz (-195)

Utah's top-ranked scoring offense in the NBA took a bit of a hiatus on Wednesday in a 111-91 loss to Cleveland. The Jazz will need a more prolific effort to outpace the Denver Nuggets on the road Sunday, as Denver boasts a top-10 scoring defense.

The Jazz will have the benefit of Rudy Gobert's return to light a fire under the team. Utah enters the contest as five-point favorites, having covered that margin against Denver in both previous meetings this season. The Jazz have frequent experience as road favorites this season, posting a record of 10-8 against the spread.

I like the Jazz for a good rebound effort on multiple days of rest. Since it's a parlay, we'll take the moneyline instead of laying the five points to give ourselves some cushion on the road.

Edwards Over 3.5 assists (+100)

Anthony Edwards is ascending in his sophomore season in the NBA as a focal point for the Timberwolves' offense. In recent games, he's become more of a consistent distributor as well, posting four straight games with four or more assists and hitting the mark in six of his last seven.

Edwards averages 3.7 assists per game on the season, and the line is set at 3.5 for Sunday's affair against Golden State. Though we project this to be a low-scoring game, Edwards tapping into his ball-handling abilities could be the best hope the Timberwolves have for competing with a stingy Warriors defense in this contest. Look for the Minnesota offense to run through Edwards in a hard-fought game for his team.

Combined Odds: Warriors team total Under 106.5 (-115) + Jazz (-195) + Anthony Edwards Over 3.5 assists (+100) = +465
