After splitting a pair last night, I’m trying to add a couple of winning NBA Picks to our plays tonight. Below are my two best bets for Wednesday’s evening.

Bulls vs. Hornets
Last night the Bulls were involved in a huge double overtime game against the Mavs that was tied more times that most players had points in the game. Monta Ellis and the Mavs took care of business in Chicago, but the Bulls played pretty well. Derrick Rose looked good registering a double double, and Pau Gasol had 29 points and basically single-handedly kept the Bulls in it. Other than Rose’s incredible one-handed bank shot that tied the game and sent it to a second OT, Gasol was the main offensive weapon.

It should be that way again tonight, against a Hornets team that has gotten absolutely nothing from their power forward spot this season, In fact, against the big front line of the Bulls, the Hornets should once again struggle to score tonight. With the NBA odds favoring the Bulls on the road at -4 ½, it makes it tough to bet on either side. However the total is sitting around 192 ½ to 193 right now, and that looks like a great value for the under.

The Hornets’ defense hasn’t been as good as last season, and their offense has been even worse. Against a solid defensive team like Chicago, the Hornets are going to have trouble scoring, even with the Bulls coming off of the overtime back to back. The under is 8-1-1 in the last ten games the Hornets have played against a team with a winning record, and the under is 6-2 in the last eight games the Bulls have played on the road. I doubt the overtime loss has too much effect on the Bulls’ defense tonight, so grab the under and add it to your NBA picks.

Free NBA Pick: UNDER 193

Mavs vs. Bucks
The team that beat the Bulls last night in that overtime game is the Mavs, who are now heading into Milwaukee to play the Bucks. Milwaukee has been a pleasant surprise this season, and they almost had their best win of the season last night against the Cavs. However Lebron James and company came roaring back late to take the game, but the Bucks easily covered for our NBA Picks.

Tonight the NBA Odds from 5Dimes have the Mavs as -4 road favorites, with a total of 204 ½. With both teams coming off the back to back, they both might be a bit tired from their tough games last night. Unlike the Bulls who are already a good defensive team, the Mavs are not, and the double overtime game might affect their defense. The Mavs are the best scoring team in the league right now, but they are giving up nearly 102 points per game on the year, and with the Bucks’ young and diverse offense, they could easily touch that or higher. The over has cashed in seven of Milwaukee’s last nine games, and the over is 7-1 in the Bucks’ last eight games versus a winning team. For the Mavs, the over has cashed in four of their last five games, and I think they make it 5-1 after tonight.

Free NBA Pick: OVER 204 ½
